  2. I'm not familiar with that brand, but if it's specially formulated to be milk replacement for nursing kittens, it's likely to be just fine. If you want to supplement with goat's milk (available at larger grocery stores, canned, in the same aisle as evaporated milk and baking ingredients), then go ahead. Goat's milk is also a good replacement milk for nursing kittens.

Remember when you bottle-feed the kitten it should be lying belly-down, not belly-up. The kitten will lie belly down and tip its head up some to meet the nipple. Nursing in this position will help avoid swallowing excess air or getting any down the windpipe, instead of to the stomach.

Good luck! Don't forget to help the kittens pee & poop, and don't forget to keep them warm; nursing kittens can't digest food if they're cold.

  4. It's May 2011, just found your post, new to this site. GNC kitten milk causes constipation. Several kittens constipated, even had to take one to vet for enema, which I've never had to do before. I mixed remainder of GNC milk with goat's milk or another formula and constipation got better. Then switched to KMR formula, which is the formula I had always used in the past. Will not buy GNC again unless they correct their formula.
