  1. So my first problem was the kittens wouldn't poop, well lol they did and they did in the thing they sleep in and it got all over them. My GF says we can't use soap and only warm water. the smell and are stained with poop and pee. it's gross and my room is starting to smell (well because of that and the fact that they kept peeing on my rug -_-) but yea.

  2. If the kittens are at least a couple weeks old, you can wash them with warm water and Dawn dish liquid, or with baby shampoo. Don't wash their heads. Do dry them off immediately and then keep them against your body or somewhere else where they won't get cold. Kittens can't regulate their body temperatures. A heating pad under a towel on one side of their bed, with a towel or blanket off on one side so they can move off the heat.

So far as your room goes, you need to get an enzyne cleaner to clean the places they have had accidents. Otherwise the kittens will go back to those spots again. Can you find a kiddie pool? The all plastic kind that looks like a huge bowl, not the blow up ones. It would be big enough for 3-week kittens to toddle around in and it would be easier to wash towels than clean your rug. If you can't find one, be inventive and try to figure out some other way to contain them. Or keep them in a bathroom or kitchen that doesn't have carpet. Just make sure there's no little openings they can crawl into and get stuck.

They are a little young to actually be boxed trained, but it's not too early to provide them with a very shallow litter box (or aluminum baking pan from the grocery store) with non-clumping, non-scented litter or a combo of litter/shredded newspaper. They will catch on to it's use eventually, especially if you put some poop in the box so they know that's where it goes.

  4. Shallow is best for kittens. If you don't have a saucer that will work, try a plastic lid like from a margarine tub or piece of Tupperware. You might also want to invest in a package of unscented baby wipes. Your furry kids are going to get nice and messy while they are learning to drink from a bowl. The baby wipes are perfect for cleaning little faces. (They work on little furry bottoms too.)

  6. With my kitten, he was 4 weeks and abandoned by his mother, so lacked the ability to go to the bathroom by himself and didn't drink from a dish. To get him to go to the bathroom, I filled a shallow litterbox (had to cut the front down so he could get into it) and I would put him in it everytime he woke up and after he ate. I also noticed that he was doing was scratching on the carpet when he needed to go. With the water, he wouldn't drink from the dish, so I would take a baby eye-dropper and give him a couple mil. a day. He was also on wet food, so he gets a lot of moisture from that as well. Eventually, your kitten will learn and it will be one of the proudest days of your life
