  4. I'm glad Chiari is getting out there in the news. It is a bit worrisome that he had to go to Mayo to be diagnosed at all. Well hopefully with a higher profile more people will be diagnosed appropriately.

  5. It seems to happen like water on stone, bit by bit, and then all of a sudden a subject hits some kind of critical mass and the news really gets out there. But it can take such a long time in the beginning. This is great, MC.

  6. I just have to say I wish the "cure" were as simple as it was for this man. What they don't tell you is all the people who live with complications and/or other surgeries! But we are getting out the word!

  7. I was thinking the same when I read it, MC. Wish it could have been as easy for you!

  8. It forgot to mention that 80% of people have a "relapse" or "worsening" of condition within a year of surgery. Oh well, we will get there one step at a time!

  9. MC I am sorry it didn't work well for you, like it did for this gentleman. He isn't alone, many others have had great relief of pain with surgery. Hopefully you will continue to follow up with the Chiari Center and they will be able to help you with a better solution to help you with pain. Continued prayers that you will find an answer from the correct doctor.

  10. Glad that it seems to have worked for this gentleman and hope that it remains so for him. Reading the comments, one can see that the medical community is grasping at straws or not informed about this condition at all. At least the word is getting out there.
