   Hi I'm Joan. Born and raised in New Jersey. I've always been owned by at least 1 cat. I grew up with Jinx, who was on this Earth before me. There have been black cats throughout my life until we lost our beautiful long hair Smokie way too young. Now hubby and I have our boys Shaddo, a grey shorthair who's 16, and Jiggs, a Maine Coon, who is 15. I've always admired purebreads, but have always adopted orphans. I deeply admire people who foster kittens and those who try to do their part in controling feral cats.
   My awsome hubby of 18 years and I love to visit the Outer Banks of North Carolina; watched that tropical storm closely yesterday. The only problem about going there is that I miss my fuzzy boys!
