A very Merry Christmas to one and all. I hope this day finds you well with the ones you love. Wishing you a Blessed day. The cafe is magical today. The nativity is front and center in the cafe, a fire is roaring. The tree is lit and shining in shades of silver, gold, red, and green. Tables decorated with red and green clothes, holly branches, and candles. Christmas music is playing and there is a festive feel in the air. Kitties dressed in their finest and the kittens are nestled in baskets. Sweet and savory smells are coming from the kitchen. The buffet is loaded with noms, the chocolate fountain is out and the fountains are flowing. The cafe kitties would like you to stop by and say hello or stay for a while. Its a purr-fect day in TDK land. Please join us.

Good Morning and a very Merry Christmas MC & Deb! *scritches several agency kittehs, many sporting bows on their heads* The cafe looks and smells and sounds perfect - how festive! I'll be busy with Christmas dinner prep soon so I'll have a big glass of chocolate milk and a bacon cheddar omlet.

Sigh, I guess LeeMet figures they can roughhouse now that Santa brought them stuff. Doesn't mean I can't use the mama override, hehe! Nah, couldn't do that to the little angels :) I filled the bird feeders for the first time this season yesterday (can't feed year-round here in bear country!) and put some bread out this morning so they are enjoying the birds enjoy their breakfast.

A low key day here with my sister and her cat. Her cat had me up most of the night attacking me. Not sure why because we've known each other two years. Santa still came to her! :-). Hope your day is great!

Merry Christmas MC, Deb, Joan, Pika, Kit, Metsa, Cheri, Abigail, SC, KW, BB, 2P, KM, and OH!! May you all be blessed with a glorious morning!! We actually overslept! A first for me. I missed service at the church this morning--I always am up by 7am no matter when I go to bed--the animals all yell for food and attention! This morning EVERYONE was asleep until 8:30! Noelle enjoyed her first Christmas. Deuter is not doing as well. He jumped off the entertainment center. We called our vet. He is eating and drinking--even used the box, but he is clearly in pain. I have him in a nest of Mr. SM's blanket. Vet said if necessary call and he will meet me, but for now to keep him still as he is doing all the life things. Deuter is next to me in his nest going nowhere. Lissy is his guardian--anyone comes near Deuter and Lissy growls. Sherlock is confused--but he has Noelle to snuggle with--actually he likes to bathe her. Mr. SM is afraid he is taste testing. Kasey and Teaser are resting by the tree. The fire is burning and all is well--or as well as can be for the moment!
May all of TDK feel the magic and peace of Christmas settle in their hearts and shine through their spirit! May the peace of the Lord be with you today and everyday.

Merry Christmas everyone! Hubby's family just left and Leela and Comet were little angels for them. Now a bit of cleanup and save the rest for tomorrow. The snow is expected to head our way early tomorrow. No white Christmas here but that's a good thing since the roads are quite tricky around here, even without snow. Hubby and I have nowhere to go tomorrow so we will kick back, watch football and watch the snow fall.
Was weird not seeing my family today - first time EVER! My brother will be up from Maryland next week and we do Christmas all over again anyway so Mom will see 4 out of 5 of us kids then. I also visited with my mom the other day.
Feel better Deuter. Leela heard me mention him. She sends special good vibes to him and soothing leg rubs to you SM.Posted 1 year ago by JoanfromNewJersey #

Some pics to share of the white Christmas. It's definitely not Hot-lanta tonight lol I tossed Cali out in the snow, she would have none of that! She usually likes stalking around the yard, but she was like "no! let me in!!!" She went strait back to the door.

Merry Christmas, Everyone! And special hugs to Deuter - I hope that he's feeling much better by now. My little Windi had a sort of sprained leg a couple of weeks back. A bit of rest on the heating pad and lots of TLC and she was fine after a couple of days. I hope that Deuter will be the same!
We have had a wonderful Christmas here. Missing family but we spoke to all of them. Now I'm just waiting for my rib roast to finish cooking and we will be ready for Christmas dinner!

Merry Christmas ladies and gentlemen!!!! I am back home from spending last night at Mom's house. I took Roxy with me...goggies weren't happy with her being there but everyone survived. Evening service at church last night was beautiful and between dinner last night, breakfast and lunch/dinner today...I don't plan on eating for two days!
Oh and I have never seen a furbaby get so many presents before! She is one lucky cat LOL Nip treats, food treats, kitty food, scratching post and carpeted hidey-hole thing. She is one wore out kitteh and is sleeping next to me right now. I'm watching the latest Jesse Stone movie on CBS (Tom Selleck....yum LOL)
SM, hope Deuter feels better :( Poor thing...he was just excited for Christmas presents!
Hope everyone else had a great holiday and is safe and warm in their homes!Posted 1 year ago by roxysmommy #

Thank you all for the wishes. It wasn't the fall--we are not discussing the bill. He went to the box--I knew as soon as I saw--his kidneys. We do have a great vet. He is on heavy duty antibiotics and I will be learning to give him sub-q fluids. We thought he was doing better--were wrong.Knew it was pretty bad when he turned down nip--although Mini SM said "See I told you he can quite anytime he likes!" Noelle is LOVING this Christmass stuff! I have to say that Deuter is ticked--and that does my heart some good. And Although it isn't news I wanted, I am so thankful that nothing was broken. So we treat aggressively. Seems he may be on antibiotic for an extended period. Guess he has an infection in the bladder and kidney and it takes awhile to get the bacteria out. When Menden had kidney failure he was old--I understood that, but why does Deuter have this disease? Pretty upset this Christmas night.
