Good Morning Littermates and Happy 2011! Today is a "good luck" day according to numerologists, apparently there is signifigance to 1-1-11. I wish you all a good luck day for sure. The kits are passed out all around the cafe, it was a LATE night last night, they welcomed in 2011 with all their family around the world. It is a simple breakfast, breads, pasteries, cereal, yogurt, and fruits. Plenty of non-alcoholic drinks for everyone. Please stop by and say hello! Any plans for today?

Good morning, all and happy new year! I see you, PM, you can't hide!
I ended up staying home last night. Just finished dig-sitting after ten dats and missed my boys. GG and I were going to go to a party that his brothers were going to go to as well, but they were having trouble planning everything iut (as usual) so I told GG i'd just stay home. Still wasn't feeling well and just wanted to go to sleep. Ended up going to bed at ten, but spent a few hours tossing and turning. Bobby came to visit and suck the blanket every half hour, the rest of the time, he sat in the window watching the fireworks :)
-
yay! You can post on TDK! I love that Bobby sucked his blankie with you! Its gonna be a good year with Bobby starting it off right!

That it is! He sure missed his mama! Must have been some fire works display he watche, because he's still in his kitty bed skeeping. Mi is running around, though. As soin as he knows i'm awake or hears the alarm, he comes runni.g to say good mirning, which entails standing in my chest while i'm on my back, and rubbing his head repeatedly against my chin :)

Happy New Year to all. The neighbors started with fireworks around 8pm last night and kept going until midnight! Purrki didn't seem any more upset by that then the new house so I guess that is good. I started my New Years fitness committment yesterday by adding weights back in to my workout. I used very light weights - it's been almost a year since I did any regularly - but oh I hurt this morning! Plan on a very low activity day!

Happy New Year my friends. Went to bed at 11 last night...yay :)
Been cleaning today. Abbie's party is tomorrow and the house needs a good scrubbing anyway. Just finished the kitchen...now have to do the bathroom, living room, dining room...and at least vacuum the upstairs :)GD, glad you stayed home, the boys needed to see you and you needed rest. PM..we see you..you can never hide from us...lol.
TM, good for you about the weights...I need to do something, but I have to admit, I am too lazy. It's raining here today and we will be dropping from 55 today to 28 tomorrow. Brrrrr...welcome to whacky Cleveland weather :)

I have my Panera coffee and asiago cheese bagel, my two boys and the Christmas tree lit. So nice and relaxing! Gg gave me the new purse I wished for for Christmas and it came in a very large gift bag. I brought it in yesterday and gave it to the boys (the gift bag, not the purse!). Milo especially is thrilled and spending a lot if time in the bag :)
-
CM, if I could I would come help you clean in exchange for being at Abbie's party :) How's' the little Fishie today?
I see you PM!
Ooh, bags are the bestest presents :)
Question for cats: how do you make your meomy feel guilty? Answer, sit in front of where your crunchies bowl used to be and look VERY sad. Meow pathetically as if starving.
-
Sure can Kilroy :) She's good. Ornery as usual :) Napping now...ahh the quiet...lol
Bags so rock...Bastian always played in them..Cricket and Fred could care less...silly kitties.OMG Kilroy..Fred meows constantly...he is always hungry and we do have dry food down all the time for them. I think he has hyperthyroidism though and his metabolism is just running high...He makes me feel bad all day

Kilroy, did your vet mention anything about giving tuna water and/or chicken broth/stock to George to get him to drink more? When our cat, Mickey, had kidney problems and needed to drink more, the vet suggested giving him that and he lapped it all up. I asked if the saltiness would present a problem and she said that the hydration it provided during a time of need would be more of a positive than the negative of the saltiness in the tuna water.

HAPPY "MEW" YEAR TO ALL! We will be spending the day digging out from the blizzard of yesterday--added about a foot of new snow to the foot or so already there. In all honesty, he will be doing the digging out--I cannot handle the strong wind and cold. I'll stay inside and make him some hot chocolate. And that's my story and I'm sticking to it!! ;) The snow drifts are really bad--and all major roads around here and thru Fargo are closed till tomorrow. News just said some overpasses on the Interstates have drifts all the way up to the beams of the road above. Gee, I just "love" North Dakota!
Hope everyone has a super year ahead. (Milo must have snuck out to the party in the cafe last night because he is still snoozing.)

Thanks for the suggestion, Dee. Mr. K loves tuna salad for sandwiches; I'll see if I can get him to do that for lunch tomorrow and "borrow" the liquid :) Today he did cheesy scrambled eggs with dill - yum!
Happy New Year, MM! Yoiks, your weather sounds bad. It's finally gotten back above freezing here so things are starting to thaw out.
-
....*whew*!..... plops down in the Cafe on a big comfy chair...... house is cleaned, things are back in their place, nothing broken, no one hurt...... it was a successful party!
.... could you please get me a cold diet coke, and hand me a heatig pad for my back...... only thing left to do now, is 25 loads of laundry!......LOL
... Wow! sorry to hear so many of you are still in freezing weather, or that it's coming back...... it was a balmy 77 here today, and shouldn't too cold again for a while......

I'm back. I really don't know what's going on. My posts here are perfectly visible to all, and I can see my posts on the TDK UK Christmas lunch thread, but the thread will not move up to the top. I'm trying to bump it so that MCW and Pika and DavesMum will see it, but I can't get it to move.
Please can one of you have a go? It keeps saying the latest post was by Kaitlyn, but I've posted 3 or 4 times since then :-(

I just tried again AV (and thank you for getting it to move) and, no - latest reply is AV not me. That thread just hates me, even though I started it!
