quick update:
He is resting comfortably. Heart beat is steady. Blood pressure good with the aid of a balloon pump in his artery. They will try to remove the balloon pump tomorrow.Posted 2 years ago by Stubbys Momma in MO #

Had to come on line tonight to see if you had an update. So glad to hear all sounds positive, and I will keep praying that your brother gains back his health very quickly.

They took him off the ventilator today, and hopefully was able to also remove the balloon pump. He was complaining that he was hungry, which is a good thing. They said if he handled ice chips and small drinks of water that they might give him a liquid dinner. He said bring it on! So it looks like he is doing well. The doctors that deal with the electricity in the heart are monitoring him this weekend and will decide if he needs a pacemaker. He is in good spirits and thanks everyone for their prayers.

He is now recovering at home and has to wear an external defibulator for about 6 to 8 weeks when they will run further tests on him to determine if he needs a pacemaker or not.
