  2. Not tonight MC, but possibly by Wednesday :( I hate winter.

  3. Hi MCat,yup we are getting "lake effect" however, it seems more than that plus to continue thru tomorrow too!
Pmom, discovered an interesting wine over the Holidays as 7 Daughter's out of CA with 2 blends for each red & white. I tried the white as a very light but complex blend of 7 grape varities. It did include Sauvignon Blanc which I also enjoy. www.7daughters.com

  4. I am aware of the Bath and Body Works sale, WWM, but I don't have the money for it right now :(

  5. I am worried we will get "more" than five inches. We always get more than they tell us!

  6. It looks like it will be chilly here for the next week and a half, but no more snow.

But before you start thinking about moving to Texas, remember this phrase: 100-degree Augusts.

  7. MC we might get three inches and even though it really won't affect much, I am looking forward to seeing it come down. Of course, since I have been out of town, I am completely out of milk, hald and half and bread. I hate that I am going to have to fight the "Oh my God it's going to snow" crazies at the grocery. I did go to the bakery for my bread so I may just stop at the gas station for some milk and leave the real shopping for another day.

  8. KK, that is so funny everyone goes crazy over three inches! I just hate that the city shoves all the neighborhood snow in MY driveway. That's what living at the bottom of two hills and on a corner will getcha!

  9. Everyone is always afraid that it will be worse than predicted...Ice is cause for panic, but not snow.

  10. Agreed, ice=panic, snow=plow!

Posted 1 year ago by katthays #

  17. Ahhh... and that is why I don't live in WI or WY any more. I couldn't take the cold and snow. When it's in the 60's here, it's too cold. lol I keep my sights set on HI.

  18. I just want enough for it to be pretty and swirly but not cause any major problems. That's not too much to ask. Ok am off to find some milk since I really want some hot cocoa.

  19. Temps in the 60s would be good right about now...

  20. I say temps above 30F would be a treat right now! LOL

  22. Poor Scotland is still struggling with the winter weather. Every morning I hear road closed notices on the travel news and warnings of black ice and dangerous driving conditions throughout Scotland and through into Northern England.

We often get a second bout towards the end of January/beginning of February, but I'm hoping we've had all our really bad weather for this winter.
