Hi all,I seem to have contracted a particularly tenacious pneumonia which is causing me distress. I get short of breath and have chest tightness and a cough. I am on my second antibiotic. I would appreciate any prayers and white light.

Prayers and healing white light on board as the TDK bus rumbles through the wormhole to you. I, too, second the notion of going to the ER if necessary. Having had pneumonia twice, I know it's not something to "wait and see" about.

bc - please evaluate how you feel after 2 doses of the new antibiotic, if no better, head for the er. hopefully it will start making a difference in how you are feeling by the 2nd dose. we are all on alert till we hear from you, that you are starting to feel better. and don't forget chunka will be needing your help before you know it, to help her supervise all the little rascals she brought into the world :) prayers that you lick this pneumonia quickly. bobby

Oh, Buttercup, that sounds most unpleasant. Do you think you might have picked up a particularly nasty bug from a patient? I know that lots of those little bad guys are mutating to resist antibiotics. White light and warm thoughts that you'll beat it soon.

Prayers and healing white light. Have they done any breathing treatments on you? I am prone to get pneumonia and when I do they put me on albuterol. It helps me hack the stuff out of my lungs and seems to help me heal quicker than antibiotics alone. I hope things start to break up and you feel better soon.

Hi,thanks for all the replies. It means a lot.I do feel somewhat better this morning though tired. This will be the second day of the new antibiotic so I'm hoping it will kick it down.
The puppies continue to grow,their eyes are opening and they are taking their first wobbly steps. They are just so darn cute. :D
