  2. Hee hee, Deb, when I became a magazine sub, I had to learn pages and pages of those words off by heart...

    Never can remember keyboard shortcuts though, without writing them down. In the old days, we had manual Imperial typewriters (passed down from the writers, I think, around 1942) -- no shortcuts for us!

    ..... nice to wake up to a nat'l championship!.... I do feel bad for KW, she's right, it was won/lost in the last 2 seconds of the game....... Oregon tied up the score 19 - 19 in the last minute with a touch down and 2-pt. conversion, then Auburn ran the ball back and kicked a 3 pt. field goal in the last 2 seconds..... it was a real nail biter!...... both teams were good, well matched, and made for an exciting show!

    ..... prayers for our NZ friends, those floods look terrible!......

  12. .... Deb, I hope you get some rest, this week almost seems 'surreal' for me.... first full week back, and still a little foggy from last week's flu-induced haze.......

    ..... oh well, here we go - back in the saddle and soldier on.....

    ..... I was looking at those flooding pics again, really terrifying!..... those cars that got just washed away!..... How awful to just have to sit there helpless and watch!......

    ..... I'm off to the showers now, have a great day, Deb - have a great start to your weekend, and GD - stay warm if you're biking this week.... looks like our Fla. temps are in for another cold snap!.....

  15. I'm back!! We ran out of large bath towels so I had to scoot to the laundromat next door to wash some, since our towel guy can't make it here till later today.

    I just checked the weather, AV. Brrr! I have a long ride from home tomorrow (10 miles) since GG has hockey tonight and I won't be staying over there. It's much nicer to stay over there, since he's only 3 miles away. There is a LOT of hockey games these next two weeks, too - boo :(
