Hi, this is my first post at the Daily Kitten. I have 2 furbabies, Shadow and Bernie. Shadow is about 14 and Bernie is about 6.5, both black with white blazes under their chins. Shadow is long haired and Bernie is short haired. Bernie is also about 26 pounds and on a diet!!! Shadow is normal weight, about 10 pounds. Anyway, thanks for reading.

Hi Mum2cats!!! So glad to have you join us. We don't have anybody from Canada in our group right now, I don't think. Everyone here is very friendly, and we welcome you and your furbabies.

Thank you for the warm welcome. He isn't too bad on the diet. The food our vet prescribed is canned and he can have up to 3 cans a day. He eats about 2 cans (they're the same size as Friskies and the like). He gets a bit at a time and of course, our other cat eats regular food. I sometimes feel like the food bowl police!! lol.

Welcome, Mum2cats, don't think we have anyone in Canada either, so welcome to the group. Hope you find lots of friends here, as we are a friendly group. Enjoy! Hugs and purrs, Lynn

Hi Ann, no Shadow and Bernie are not related. Shadow has been with me for 14 years and Bernie was adopted about 4 years ago so, no, they are not related. In fact, when Bernie came home the first time, Shadow was not very welcoming. They have become good friends though, thankfully.

The sharing circle is when we all sit Indian-style in a big cyber-circle and "pass" the kitten(s) of the day. Early use of the sharing circle is an effective preventative of the use of the wack-bonk stick, or worse (Huddy's Mama's pitchfork, or Instinct's flaming pu-dao).
Welcome, littermate! Good to have a Canuck in the crew!

Hi mum2cats. Welcome to TDK and the craziest bunch on the internet.
That is one big cat you have there. Do you have pictures? You can put them on catster.com and link up here. Any name in pink is linked to somewhere else - usually to catster. Just click and you can see our cats.
Join us on the Night Shift, where any and all things happen.
Peace, hugs and purrs.Posted 4 years ago by artistabobbi TX 1/17 #

Hi, mum2cats! My goodness - 26 lbs? You have got to establish a Catster page so that we can all admire your fur babies! And welcome - there is something for everyone here at TDK! I don't think that you always know who submitted TDK because they aren't always members. But I'm sort of new and am not the best authority! But I do know that you don't have to be a member to get your kittens on TDK. My fur babies were featured November 13, 2007 when I was not a member but when I saw the great comments of course I joined!

Welcome to TDK, mum2cats. I think you will find this to be a great family of cat lovers. I've learned a lot about caring for my cats here and enjoyed the antics of our furry and human TDK family. :-)

Hi, I've only been around for a few weeks myself. It is a really fun site with some special people. Lots of information and good support. Can't wait to see pictures of your babies. I currently have7, all but one are rescues; you can see them on Catster. We are still working on making their pages prettier, but with 7 it will take a while!
Welcom and have fun.Posted 4 years ago by Tigerlilly #
