Jax, Taco and Feeny have a fun time while out on the leash and it did not make them want out more. They get excited when it's time to go out, but never sit meowing at the door or anything like that. As long as you make sure to treat for fleas etc, there should be no problem.

I let my cat out on a leash and if I am not outside with him I do check him every 5 to 10 mins to make sure his leash is not tangled with a tree or a chair, sometimes he gets himself in such predicament I feel so sorry for him, but there I am to rescue him. Make sure the harneses are tight enough, once I was gardening in the front yard and there was my kitty walking around like nothing, he had gotten off the harness!!!!

Hey guys thanks for all the posts, decided on keepin them inside. Weighed up the pros an cons, far too many cons mainly that we live near the main road and in the center of town so very busy all day everyday. I have set up a bed on the windowsill and have walked in few times in the last week and both Ty and Luna have been led there. Theres a bush right across and Ty loves watching the birds :)
My cousin told me bout the harness, dunno if i could! I'd fee silly although when i was younger i used to have one for my rabbit, pip!Posted 1 year ago by Tiberiusmum #
