Hi all! We have had a hard time remembering a NS lately so I thought even though it is early we should start it. I am gonna have myself some fish and chips and an ice cold diet pepsi. I am so cold I am gonna snuggle my blankie and a basket of kittens to keep warm. It didn't get above 0F today and I haven't thawed out. Hope you are well and have a lovely Friday or Saturday if you are in the Southern Hemisphere.

Hi MC and SK, it's warm here but damp and overcast. Can't have it perfect all the time I guess and the gardens and fruit trees need a rest from the searing sun. So do I. KK has just txt me her dinner menu and now I have to figure out what we're having, first it's a lucky dip into the freezer. I'll pretend I'm with you MC while I'm freezer diving.

Evening all, afternoon MS. It is -6 with the wind chill. Snow, cold and bitter wind...whoo hoo!!! I am so wanting spring to be here.Yay SK!!!! I hope your physical goes well and you can get back to work.
MS..freezer diving...lol. I am already trying to think what to make for dinner tomorrow night :)

Brrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! I'll join CM and MC with the "is it spring time yet?" chant. It's so cold the breath feels like it's being sucked out of your lungs as soon as you walk outside!
I (barely) made it to work today after dying on my couch yesterday. I have to say, nurse Roxy was no help lol She kept bringing me toys so I could play with her, bless her heart, but the only thing Mommy wanted to do was slip into a NyQuil coma and stay there until her fever broke :( Oh, and everytime I coughed, she jumped like a scardy cat LOL

Better, CM, better :) Thanks for asking! My fever finally broke at work today and I actually ate something this evening and managed to keep it down. Now I just feel punky and blah...and I'm trying to cover my coughs because Roxy is jumping like a guilty woman every time I start "barking" LOL

Glad you are feeling better. Just rest as much as you can. Lots of fluids too!!Time for me to go. We have to get the girls to bed and that is always at least and hour process..get them dressed, teeth brushed, stories, tucking in...

Hello everyone, just got home from Chicago.....0 degrees when I let after noon and with the wind chill -19 degrees...and the plane was delayed for two hours leaving Midway.....I am tired so may just glance at things and then off to bed.....its been good seeing everyone there, but damn cold.

Went to a rugby match last night and FROZE. My feet were so cold that they didn't warm through even on the drive home, with the heater going full blast in the car. Had to put bedsocks on when I went to bed because they were still semi-frozen.

Evening Jan, no really on my way now back to bed. Loved the visit, Becca is truly a little pistol. Took pictures and then lost my camera :( So guess I will have to go back and take more, lol. But it was awfully dang cold there, so didn't go out a whole lot which was ok with me.

Sky we've been having it like that here, but probably not as hot and humid as you're getting. At lest it's cooled off here and raining. Although, the rain is very slow moving and there could be flooding in some areas. Then again, it will help those areas that are in drought. Oh heck, you can't please everyone. HRH Shadz has spent the evening either on the doormat watching the rain and then running through it and then coming inside for a towelling down and a play with toy mice and then demanding to go out again. We really need a revolving door for her during wet weather.
