Kinda got a little bit of sleep, head is so stuffy that I am sleeping sitting up.....of course that means I have two or more furballs trying to sleep on me too.

I'm with you on the head thing at the moment, I have a persistent headache, sore glands and sore jaw and possible temperature as does Airy so I guess we have a virus of some sort. It's humid tonight, 90% humidity,drizzling and 22C(71F) inside. I've also been sharing my bed with HRH lately, she's given up on her bed and decided I'm good to snuggle up to. I'd rather she did that in winter! !

Yeah the headache is persistent along with the aching neck, no fever though....I hope that all of us get feeling better soon.

Also hummingbirds of various types fly thru this area (Southern Arizona particularly Hereford ~ near where I used to live).

That was one lucky photo, I bet the festival is fun too. I've spent many hours crawling on my stomach over rocks and wet sand sneaking up on birds when I was younger. Mum was right into bird watching then and I was her apprentice. They were sea birds like terns and the NZ banded dotterel.

Lol, sounds like fun, mine was trying to catch Robins with a clothes basket :) Actually caught one with the basket and let it go afterwards, one of the best memories I have of my Grandpa Les.....he sat in the backyard with me for hours that day :)
Now I feed the multitude of doves and little sparrow type of birds in both my front and backyards.

Used to go out on the piers when I was younger also to watch the seagulls flying out over the ocean, messy birds and quite brave. They would come up behind a person and steal whatever caught their fancy (i.e., food and or anything shiny).

LOL, you've just revived a memory I have of a cardboard box, one side propped up on a stick with a string attached to the stick and a trail of bread going into the box. I was successful once but I can't remember what it as I caught. I do remember letting it go.
I too feed the birds now, mainly sparrows,blackbirds and starlings.
ROTFLMAO, Airy just let Shadz inside and had to towel her off. It must have been a rough towelling as HRH started to growl so Airy stopped and moved away. HRH then followed her and whacked her on the legs several times. It was so funny watching HRH chastising Airy, and watching Airy backing around in circles. Lol, HRH wasn't quite done being toweled down, didn't Airy understand that! Yep used a stick with a string attached to prop up the clothes basket and bread crumbs too.
Can't spell tonight either, stuffy head is screwing with me and thinking.

It's 03:13 am AZ time (MST), ... the night is a bit warmer in NZ and still rather chilly in USA ..... so time to close Night Shift and snuggle under the comforters or the a/c, so here goes gratis Moonshadow, LV , & Tigger from the beginning....good job everyone & bless you...
check - turns fountains off
check - sweep the floor (never know who has been tossing stuff around)
check - lights off and turns out neon "TDK Night-Shift" and "Poetry Jam" sign in window
check - night lights glowing gently, puts on cool jazz radio for ambiance and stragglers check - cat flaps swings creeeeeeeek (pulls out WD-40), check cat flaps again to ensure they swing quietly and effortlessly
check - doors closed, left just ajar so fuzzbutts don't come to us with complaints
check - dry kibble out as a midnight snack (so hopefully no 5 am breakfast wake-up call) and freshens litter-box. Puts away assorted fuzzy, squeaky cat-toys into Toy-Boxcheck - windows closed for Northern TDKers' fall/winter and open for Southern TDKers' spring/summer.
Goodnight to all our imaginary friends in TDK land. White light,healing energy and prayer for all those in need. Be careful out there! Bless all those whom have left before us, may their passings be gentle and their fur friends waiting for them over the Rainbow Bridge. please watch over us >^..^<

oh dear, Deb, I hope your head gets better, and the 'crud' subsides!..... hope you get some rest too!..... I actually had a decent night, after a completely worthless day yesterday...... I'm hoping I'll have renewed energy this week, as I've got a busy schedule ahead of me...... the coming weekend brings the BIG Gasparilla parade, so come Friday, I really need to be in a position where I can again, hunker down and go NO WHERE!....
