Happy to the end of Tuesday, hope your day went well. Funny how all the days are going so fast lately. Here it is 7pm and I feel like I just stopped. Had my third counseling session today so I treated myself to some window shopping after. It was kinda fun, it was a lovely outside "mall" that I had never been to before. I shut off my phone and just had me time. The best part, I went to a local dairy and got some home-made ice cream. It was delicious and just what I needed. I can always use some time to reflect after counseling and that was my relaxing. Now I am catching up on back posts, emails and the news. We have make you own sundae's tonight, chicken, beef, turkey and ham sammies (make your own here too!), chips, veggie tray and fruits. Come on by and say hello!

Hi MC! Your me time sounds good and much needed. Good for you.
I did 10 lengths of the pool this morning, then walked the half mile to work in blowing snow. The snow stopped pretty soon today, but we're supposed to get walloped again starting tomorrow night. I'm going to get to the gym tomorrow morning, because I think Thursday will be a wash.
Mr. K made his super fabulous amazing stupendous pizza for dinner tonight, so I'm stuffed, but in a good way. About ready to toddle off to bed. Mr. K's watching a Laurel & Hardy movie but they're not my speed.

I hate to sound like I have a black cloud over my head all of the time but today has not been a good one for me. Work was crappy, found out my Aunt (mom's sister) has the EXACT type of breast cancer my mom just got over and Mr RM and I are breaking up. I'm strong, I can handle all of this but man does it just make me want to curl up into a ball and cry :(
MC, enjoy the ice cream! The Michigan State University campus has a home-made ice cream shop and it is DELISH! Always the best flavors :)
Kilroy, kiss Georgie for me. How is he doing these days anyway?

OMG RM I can understand your pain! After me and FF parted ways everything went to he** in a handbasket. Hence me seeing a counselor. It has really helped but for now snuggle Miss Roxy!

Thanks all :) I always try to see the silver lining in everything but today is definitely not my day. You just never know whats going to happen when you wake up in the morning, do ya? I'm a big believer that bad things come in threes so now that this day is done with, I should be good in the bad news department for a little bit :p The good news is that this is all fixable...work will be fine tomorrow, my Aunt will be right as rain after surgery and I'll be OK without Mr RM. Now, to just get through until tomorrow :(

RM I would like to say how proud I am that I have had the opportunity to get to know you. You are an amazing lady!! Instead of dwelling on the negative--and you got a basket full today, you are focusing on the positive. You really are a wonderful person, and you are a treasure to all those lives you have touched. Thanks SM and Abigail. I really appreciate everyone letting me vent. I've been crying and/or cursing all night so I think I am just going to bed early. Hopefully the black clouds will leave me the he** alone tomorrow! :)
p.s. Roxy is not much of a snuggler or Nurse Kitteh LOL She prefers to be aloof and cute so I must snuggle her from a distance, I suppose.

Oh my RM, you do have a lot on your plate. Sylvester and Mia send purrs and gentle headbonks. Sylvester is good for cuddling and his purrs are very soothing. I agree too with what Soxsmom said to you RM.

MC, good for you to have some "me time". Important to do that from time to time.

Evening littermates, only here for a short time. Finally the contractors hired by my neighbours landlord came to remove the fallen branches that had come down on but not broken my phone line. Guess what, the contractors managed to tear the phone line out of the wall of my house! ! Airy and I were out when this happened but when we returned the contractors did a very quick disappearing trick. I wonder why. Tee hee, I rang their boss and he isn't very happy. So, phone will take a day or two to be reconnected and I'm getting internet on a vodem which is playing up. Hence, you may not see me over the next couple of days.

Hi Deb. Just been downloading some photos on to my little digital photo keychain that I got for Xmas. It holds 107 photos but I only have about 12 on it so far! Not sure if I will actually add any keys to it or just attach it to my handbag.

KK, love those little photo keychains, have seen them here but they only hold 47-50 photos. I think attaching it to your handbag would work fine, would be afraid of it breaking/falling off if I had keys on it.

Seems everyone has headed for bed and I am sitting here @ that place.
It's been only a matter of minutes since the last post.
It's 03.20 AZ time, ...the nights are very warm and muggy in NZ and very cold in the USA and the UK ..... so time to close Night Shift and snuggle under the comforters, so here goes gratis MoonShadow, LV , & Tigger from the beginning....good job everyone & bless you...
check - turns fountains off
check - sweep the floor (never know who has been tossing stuff around)
check - lights off and turns out neon "TDK Night-Shift" and "Poetry Jam" sign in window
check - night lights glowing gently, puts on cool jazz radio for ambiance and stragglers check - cat flaps swings creeeeeeeek (pulls out WD-40), check cat flaps again to ensure they swing quietly and effortlessly
check - doors closed, left just ajar so fuzzbutts don't come to us with complaints
check - dry kibble out as a midnight snack (so hopefully no 5 am breakfast wake-up call) and freshens litter-box. Puts away assorted fuzzy, squeaky cat-toys into Toy-Box
check - windows slightly open for Northern TDKers' winter and closed for Southern TDKers' summer.
Goodnight to all our imaginary friends in TDK land. White light,healing energy and prayer for all those in need. Be careful out there! Hi, Deb and MC, have a great day, MC, hope your stoopid legs feel better. Deb, I am very glad that your head is feeling better, long may it continue. Well, apart from a really nice lunch with my friend on Monday, I am feeling like every day has been stupid o'clock all day so far in 2011. Millie is on my knee having a good wash while I read some back threads.
