If you are having a rough week like me all things chocolate and cheese sound great. There are eggs, meats, potatoes, veggies, fruit, yogurt, donuts, pasteries, muffins and bagels. Plenty of things that are filled and covered with chocolate. Have what you want, at TDK there are NO CALORIES! Coffee, tea, cocoa, milk, juices, soda, water, you name it-we have it! Hope you have a great mid week, I will see you later, much later! Gonna be a long day today at work!

I'll have all cheese, hold the chocolate, please...... I suppose I must join the ranks of having a crappy start of 2011, I certainly hope things get better!.... today is rainy and cold, but it is supposed to clear up nicely and be beautiful for the crazy weekend that is quickly approaching!......

LOL@ Sio!.... funny how that calendar plays tricks on you!.....seems like I just got my yard cleaned up from last year's Gasparilla, and now it's Saturday - yikes!..... oh well, at least this year Son isn't bring (literally) a bus load of his fraternity brothers and their dates....... I swear I cooked hot dogs for a hundred people!..... it truly was an all day affair!

Good morning! Am awake at 5 am for some strange reason. Since the calories don't count in cyberland....I will take some eggs Benedict, a large chilled glass of fresh squeezed orange juice and a nice large mocha with some whipped cream. Temperatures have been in the high 60's and no rain in sight. My hands and feet are drying out and needing to use a good amount of body lotion.
AV, my start to 2011 has been crummy too and I can only hope it gets better. Trying to arrange a job interview but exchanging way too many emails and would really like to just nail down the day and time today.

A couple weeks ago I had a taste of a cheese made from whey. It was very different! It looked like caramel, in consistency and in color, but a soft-type caramel. It tasted like caramel too! I was utterly (udderly?) amazed at how such a sweet product could come from whey.
If anyone every offers you cheese made from whey, give it a taste.
This was part of a home-made cheese display at an SCA event in Chicago. The woman makes -great- homemade cheese. I could eat her basil soft cheese til the world ends...nummy num num.

Hi KH!..... I need to hit the stores tomorrow..... I've been perusing receipies for 'finger foods' for Gasparilla day...... since I can't go anywhere, I always host a party on my front porch for all the friends and pirates that stop bye throughout the day and evening....... people start arriving around 10am and the streets fill up quickly, the boat invasion starts at 11am and docks at 1pm...... the parade starts at 2pm and goes all the way down Bayshore through downtown........ it usually ends about 6pm, but then the entire City parties well into the night..........

AV, one of these day's I'm going to show up at your door to experience Gasparilla day. Do you just throw stuff on the grill all day? You could do kabobs - that way you can mix all sorts of stuff, from various meats to assorted veggies; pineapple chunks add a lot of flavor too! Woo hoo on a Weds at the TDK Cafe with chocolate & cheese, I want to hang out all day & enjoy by indulging! Mmmm a choclate chocolate chip muffin, cheesie bagel and a very large joe to go pleeze little Tux! Oy, couldn't fall aspleep last nite/don't know why w/all kinds of thoughts whirlling around in my coconut!(Didn't have any caffeine in the pm either!) Anyhow it is only 9 AM here so will be a looong morning...wishes for all to have an ever improving day/nite...later!

Whew! Just a minute to check in, and wanted to send a hug in Roxysmommy's direction; yesterday sounds like it sucked big time. And with all that, you still asked about Georgie, which was sweet of you. He's terrific, back to his old self, we seem to have worked out how much wet food to give him so he's not howling all day. And he sends you kitty kisses and headbonks for being a nice lady :)
