  1. The Gasparilla celebration continues as the NS kitties gear up for their guests. We still have all the noms from the Cafe, only now we can wear our pj's! LOL I am getting sick, feel like I swallowed a set of knives. My throat is killing me. I am just hanging out in the overstuffed Lazy Boy by the TV. I have Betty and Wilma with me and we are gonna wait for friends to come over!

  2. Hi, MC, oops, I just posted on the Cafe thread, didn't see this one. Going to find some lunch, so sorry about your feeling grotty. Hope your girls are taking good care of you.

  3. Get a good lunch and then come back and say hello! Yes, my girls are the best!

  4. Hi MC!.... the Gasparilla festivities are now taking place downtown, so they're a bit away from me now! (thank goodness!)..... sorry you're feeling bad, hope Nurse Betty and Nurse Wilma take good care of you!!!

  5. They are super duper nurses! But they do like to catnap on the job!

  6. MC I am sorry to hear that you are still sick. Vomiting and now a sore throat like that! Sounds like you should have a strep test. It is so easily spread and you work with immune compromised people. Maybe you should see the doctor.

    JCat have a great lunch!

AV earplugs--or join them!! Earplugs sound better, but I am old!

  7. i will have a grilled cheese tomato and ham sandwich please, with a side of french fries and a coke zero. i will eat it in the TDK lounge, next to Mollycat.

Mollycat, do you want to watch a movie ? if you like historical ones, "the Young Victoria" is great. we can watch it together...

  8. Ooh Cheri! That sounds great. Betty and Wilma want to come sit with you. SM, I am going to immediate care in the am. People at work have ended up having this go straight to pneumonia.

  9. MC that would be horrible to spread through your medical facilities!! Hopefully you will be able to be cared for quickly so that this isn't spread on to others.

  10. MC, did you even get rid of your last cold before this one? Is your immunity compromised because of your surgeries? You seem to be continually sick...that stinks!

  11. Good evening all. AV, hope you get to keep your yard for the remainder of the festivities, lol! Feel better soon, MC.
Just had a snowy clipper come thru - left a pretty dusting. There's so much snow here, though! The piles are so high and there's no where to put it. Hubby says throw it in the bathtub & run the hot water; I say make a roving bonfire...

  12. Fire here is just scary now Joan. We have had no moisture of any kind in so long that everything is bone dry. We are on a fire alert!

Evening, Deb, that was a message to you from Miss Maddie, who is also chirruping and perching on the desk, watching me type. Wow, if they have too many of you at work, maybe you can come home :-)

  14. Miss Milo is now tickling my feet. I think I have to lift her up too, lol.

  15. LOL, Evening Jane and tell Ms. Maddie, thank you little one :) Yeah it would be nice to go home but its double Sunday pay so would rather not leave unless I had too. Soon you will have a lap full of little furballs.

  16. Evening Deb, LOl at the cheezburger. Kayla the cat reminds me off Shadz but with no ginger and way less white in the dappling. Speaking of HRH, she has just gone outside again for a late night hunt.
We have had beautiful weather today and manged to get the lawns done before our bodies groaned that enough was enough. We're still sore and tired from the move yesterday.
Wow, 8 people there at w**k, does that equate into it being not so busy?

    Posted 1 year ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  17. Oh yes, in that case definitely need to stay, Deb, no wonder you have so much help for once, lol. I briefly had a lap full of furballs but they didn't want to stay there, slipping and sliding all over the desk, lol, and climbing the stacks of paper. Eventually I get too paranoid (if they fall behind the desk and get stuck between there and the wall, I will NEVER be able to get them out again, lol) so I lift indignant little explorers down onto the floor again. Much angry squeaking. (But it's fun up there, lol.)

  18. Evening, MS, you sneaked in while I wasn't looking, lol. What a lot you've got done this weekend! No wonder you guys are tired. Meegz and Mr Meegz must be thrilled and enjoying putting their new home to rights, knowing it's all theirs and they need never move again if they don't want to!

Posted 1 year ago by jcat #

  19. Jane, lol I bet they were a tad bit upset, its more fun up high :)

Jan, dang you and the family have been busting your behinds in working this weekend.....moving Meegz and Mr. Meegz, dealing with the stormy weather, and then doing yardwork too.....glad you worked for all of us :)

And yes, crossing my fingers, knocking on wood....its not busy right now...

Posted 1 year ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  20. Jcat, you did some sneaking too.
Meegz and Mr Meegz have polished wood floors in the hall and kitchen and the cats have discovered how to do wheelies on it.

  21. Hee hee, ooh, love the piccy that conjures up!

Posted 1 year ago by jcat #

  22. Mr Meegz was in the basement when he heard the scrabbling and then he realised it wasn't moving anywhere, that's when he clicked as to what was happening, said it sounded hilaious.

  23. Love when you move into a new house and try to figure out all the new sounds.

Posted 1 year ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  24. It is fun getting used to new noises. At least they know the house doesn't leak and can withstand high winds. They get a panoramic view of sunsets, stunning orange and apricot colour tonight.
I'm heading off to bed now, goodnight Deb and Jcat. Sweet dreams to you both and headbonks to The Crew,Libs & Jasper and the "M" mob.

  25. Nighty-night, MS, sweet dreams and sleep well. I am here for a little while longer. Their view of sunsets sounds fantabulous!

Posted 1 year ago by jcat #

  26. G'night Jan, sleep well and have sweet dreams, may your weather hold out tomorrow and scritches to HRH in the morning.
