  1. Hi, Deb, old pipes, they get blocked up, I think that's enough details, lol. Golly gosh, no wonder you're tired. It seems to happen once or twice a year. (My pipes seizing up, not you falling asleep at work, lol.) Ideally, I would have the money to relay the plumbing and sort it out but that will have to wait for a good long while, I would say, as there is no money in the kitty right now.

  2. Oops, no pun intended.

  3. I understand about the old pipes, hopefully the money in reserves will get replaced sooner rather than later for you. I have to pour vinegar down my sink pipes when I get home this morning, noticed that they were draining slowly this evening. So other than plumbing, how was your weather today and how are the kits doing?

  4. Think I am going to stop on my way home this morning to have my hair trimmed, washed and conditioned plus they do a nice head massage when washing my hair. Found some nice Guayabera shirts today for my Dad and brothers and Lynn's son at a yard sale for .50 cents each (a sport shirt or lightweight jacket, often with several large front pockets, modeled upon a loose, smocklike shirt originally worn by men in Cuba) they look like the more simple ones here http://www.fridayshirts.com/shop-guayabera-c-59_26.html . So I need to go and pick those up from Lynn's house to wash them before I mail them to my Dad and brothers. Found some interesting cookbooks too, the people had an amazing collection of cookbooks from all over the world.

  5. The weather was good, sunny and breezy, Deb, but I was inside at the puter, working all day, on a very dry scientific paper. Little miss millie is doing her best to fall off my lap so i am typing with one hand and holding her tightly with the other while she munches on me and tries to catch my typing finger. maisie looks like she's settled down for the night, hasn't even wolfed down her raw meat which she normally inhales, lol. i think milo and maddie are under the stool asleep.

Now miss Millie was wriggling so much that I couldn't hold her one-handed any more so I gave her to her mother on the stool, who has pinned her down and is giving her a good washing, lol. She will not easily wriggle out of that one. Her sisters ran around the office and bedroom ALL DAY today, and little Miss Maddie now follows her mum in scooting out the bedroom door as soon as it opened, she is so fast now.

I just wish they would start eating some soft food. Mind you, the J-Mob were the only kittens I ever had who basically started weaning themselves at three and a half weeks, the others I've looked after have preferred mum right up until 8 weeks or so. But I'm sure I could fatten them up more on soft food!

  6. You've had some great finds, Deb, I saw you picked up a Gasparilla cookbook! I need to wash my hair but I am afraid to do any laundry or take a shower until the plumber has fixed things, good thing I don't have to go anywhere and offend anyone tomorrow, lol.

  7. Lol, seeing the visuals of Millie wriggling so very much and Maddie following her Mum. Wish that they would start to eat the soft foods too, that would fatten them up for sure. So nothing entices them to even try it, not even smelly stuff like tuna water?

  8. The Gasparilla cookbook was a true surprise, they had so many to go thru.

  9. Sadly, no, they do not like fish like the J-Mob did, their mum leaves it firmly on the plate and so do they, lol. I don't understand why they're so fussy, they don't mind eating litter and chewing the metal bar cages, lol. But Milo will lap her mum's drinking water.

Those Cuban shirts look really nice, Deb.

  10. My Dad loves the shirts, I started to send him some when I was living in Panama.

Little fuss butts, eat everything but what you want them to eat, go figure!

  11. OMGosh, Deb, it's 1am already, where does the time go? I'd better head off to bed. Sorry to leave you, hope your headache subsides and that you find something to do to keep you awake. But when you do get home, sleep well and sweet dreams, and scritches to the Crew. I think wriggly miss Millie is safely asleep now (touch wood) so I can probably slip out...
