Brought my Chiari Pillow, my sleeping bag, pj's and my girls for a sleepover here at the NS. Looks like we will be snowed in and cold. We brought some nip treats and nip sodas for the kittehs. I am going to have some yummy chili from the kittehs at the NS along with some cornbread and a lovely cup of cocoa. The fire is roaring and the kits are all in baskets. There are plenty of blankets, pillows, and places to sleep if you want to stay with us here. Betty and Wilma would love to visit with your kittehs. Please stop on by.

Brr! Thanks for starting the night shift, MC! Let me get the kits in here and I'll help myself to some vegetarian chili and cornbread.
*Spook and Topaz rush over to gossip with Betty and Wilma about the funny white stuff outside, while Chris and Snake grab some nip treats and head for the fire.*
Classes were canceled today and are canceled for tomorrow, too. With the university closed, I get a couple days off from work, but I don't get paid :(

Holy crap! I finally made it home from work...that was quite the adventure. I need some spicy chili to thaw out after working outside on the lot all day...and then maybe some hot chocolate and popcorn afterwards for dessert ;) Hey, it's TDK...there's no such thing as calories lol
Schminken, Roxy wants to know if she can come snuggle with her boyfriend Jax? ;)Posted 1 year ago by roxysmommy #

MC, I can't believe the most of the country is having this ridiculous weather, and here in central Fla. it's so beautiful, in the low 70's.... not that it won't change soon, but not for the much worse!
..... I saw where Son posted you guys a thread earlier - the one about the cute cat web comic (Odo) is my Son (and his pet skunk!) LOL
Come on down, RM!... I've got plenty of room!

Me too RM!!!

This root beer brisket slow-cooker recipe sounds great...but isn't two teaspoons of allspice quite a bit?

Hi RM!! Are there cars under the snow??? I got a call from home tonight RM and they are shocked that our temperatures are lower than in MI! We had school today, but by noon it was apparent that we had issues! Not the snow--only have an inch--but the cold is just hurting big time! Pipes have busted--no power. Funny how you need water and heat to run a school! Now I was very thankful as our building had no problem! The kids were told 10 minutes before the end of the day that there would be no school tomorrow. I am so very thankful the pipes are not frozen at the house!
