  1. Again I can't sleep! So I am gonna start a cafe. Hope this morning finds you well. I am busy doing housework to use the energy I have. For breakfast we are gonna have a bunch of easy stuff, donuts, muffins, rolls, bacon, cereals, fruits and yogurt. What are your weekend plans???

  2. Morning MC, so sorry you can't sleep

My plans this weekend are to try and get over the blah feeling I have had lately. Mind just feels all muddled and I have felt a lack of energy too often so going to work on that.

  3. gotta love it, keep getting signed out here and then I sign back in.....like sitting on a swing at times.

  4. Morning MC and Deb!......... Abby lets me know when her food bowl runs 'low'..... horror of horrors if it should ever get truly 'empty'.... LOL ....... she's not spoiled.......

  5. Morning AV :) Tell Abby that she has a brother kitty here, Kitty ensures that I know of the possibility of a food bowl running low :)

  6. Morning all....ugh...no plans this weekend...wish we did though. Wayne is going to the library again so..single parenthood again this weekend. I love my girls but I need a break so bad.
Maddie is sick with a cold, she's still sleeping, which she needs. Abbie was up at 4 and finally got her back down by 4:30...didn't go back to sleep till after 5 and she got back up at 6:30...

AV..I have to laugh, tell Abby, her cousin Fred is the same way...silly kitties..

  7. Morn Littermates! Happy Caturday. LOL @ Abs. Sammy & Oliver do the same thing if their bowls are slightly low. They sit there and tap their paws, like 'don't you see it is empty'?

  8. Morning, all. We were up at 2am thanks to the horrible people upstairs who throw loud parties on the weekends, ugh. We think the home health aide for the 100+ year old woman who lives there has moved her whole family in, including her teenage daughter. No idea where mom is on the weekends, but daughter apparently likes to party. We had to call security 3 times before the noise finally stopped. Then Mr. K couldn't go back to sleep :(

MC, I read your thread about the Chiari breakthrough; that is really promising and exciting!

CM, I am sending the TDK jet to pick you up so you can come hang out with me in FL :)

I should be at the gym already, but somehow I don't seem to be standing up...so tired...

  9. Kilroy, do you live in Fla???

Posted 1 year ago by SammyandOliversmama #

  10. ....... there must be some kind of kitty-conspiracy where they give each other these crazy ideas about how to handle their hoomans.......

...... it's not that I mind her telling me her food is 'low'....... it's just not good time at 4am, standing on top of my chest......... I just don't feel like discussing things at that time, but she feels the strong need to talk about it! LOL

  11. Morning SOM and Kilroy...I would so love to come hang out with you in FL...no snow and no kids! :) Have a great time visiting your mom :) Safe travels too.

Helen, what fun thing do you get to do this weekend? Maddie is now up so off to make breakfast..

  12. Kilroy, have a good time in Sarasota - I think it's going to warm up for you, it was really cold yesterday and today (60)...... but then again, compared to NYC, that may seem 'warm' to you! LOL

    *waves* to SOM and CM!

  13. SOM, no, sorry for the false alarm :) I'm leaving tomorrow to visit my mom in Sarasota, and I think it would be good for CM if she hopped in the TDK jet and came to join me for some R&R. I live in NYC.

  14. Well, I'm back, having dragged myself to the gym where, as I could have predicted, I did really crappy. Stopped on the way home for wet food & litter so Mr. K is well supplied for while I'm gone. Came home to find Mr. Mouse in Georgie's wet food bowl; Mr. Mouse needs a bath :P

Hope everyone's having a good day, wherever they are.

  15. Just stopping in on my way to visit my brother. His house was broken into a week ago (someone he knew) and the appraiser is coming Tuesday so gonna see what cleaning needs to be done. Major cleaning before it goes on the market, probably sometime in March. Since the 3 of us cannot agree to keep the house and get some rental income for a few years we have no choice but to sell it.

Lots of drama going on in my life. Glad I stopped in for a few. Will try and say hi a little more often, too.

  16. When you feel the stress and drama coming on, breathe deep and say 'this too shall pass' {{{hugs}}} Be safe....

  17. Hi everyone! Soooo glad the weekend is finally here. I love coming to TDK land; it's good for my soul :)

  18. Morning, Everyone! I'm just peeking in and then popping out. We are going to El Paso for a couple of days to be with our friend who lost her husband last year. It will be one year on Monday and we didn't want her to face that day alone. We were there right after he died and so it seems a good way to close the circle.

May I have a big cup of Chai tea to go?

  19. Meowning everyone. I am waiting for that lazy Hazel to get here and help me out. :) We are actually getting a break from the snow and cold and having temps up into the forties. It sure feels good. I got my errands done last night so I don't have to go anywhere unless I want to.

  20. *sends a sturdy tabby kitteh with a big cup with a sippie lid of Chai tea to WWM*
CTR, I hope Hazel gets there to help you; she's been a no-show here too.

Watching a sideways snow squall outside. Beautiful sunrise this morning, but it quickly clouded up and got quite breezy. Glad hubby restocked the birdfood; Mr. & Mrs. Cardinal are having lunch out there.

  21. Good morning/afternoon from Eugene, Oregon. Thought I'd have a lazy sleep-in today but jumped out of bed before 8:00a.m. I get up earlier on the weekdays, but no jumping out of the bed is involved--hitting the snooze button multiple times is more like it! lol

Got a kitty stretched out on my legs as I sit in the recliner. Doesn't get much better than this. :)

Hope everyone has a good day today. I've been working on a quilt for a prospective granddaughter or grandson. It's going on two years since my daughter and her beloved have been going through the adoption process through the state's child welfare agency. Their home study was completed last month (finally!!) and they have asked to be considered for one child and are waiting to hear. There are probably 100 other families being considered for the same child so they may be going through this process a number of times before finally getting their child. Gives me time to get this quilt done!

  22. What a wonderful story, Deb, and Rex is a beauty. What a lucky kitty, and lucky school :)

  23. Kilroy, I agree all parties are lucky in this story.

  24. Afternoon all, I've given up on Hazel too, today!....... she made ME have to do all the dusting and mopping........ :(

  25. AV, that dang Hazel, the things she 'makes' us do by not showing up!!!

Westminster Kennel Club show starts Monday night, here is a picture of last year's winner....
