   Hi SOM! It was in the 40s yesterday, low 20s now. We had a nice Valentine's Day - I made stuffed shells and garlic bread. Hubby brought a beautiful assortment of flowers home. I hope they are ok on his dresser; Comet was eying them up. Not many places in our house the cats can't get to!

    Sunny and bright with +32 in brewtown! Today is Dentist day again as my lunch date...woo hoo so just poppin' in for a cuppa joe & back to that 4 letter word!     Wow...slow cafe today...sssh, kits are all fast asleep even my special Tux is zzz'd out. I'll just grab another cuppa joe & sneak back to my desk. Yup, lunchin' with Dentist went well...1 more time & then I will definitely have my beauty queen smile...then I must work on the bod to match!

    Hi littermates, thanks for all your Positive Thoughts and prayers after I ended up in hospital briefly yesterday. I'm feeling slightly better but my voice is so low and croaky that you would need to be a buffalo to hear me. It appears I have bronchitis, thankfully better than having pneumonia. I have plenty of medication and as KK says I have Dr HRH Shadz(her breath smell of raw meat) and Nurse Airy(bossy boots) looking after me.
    Deb, great to see you had a good sleep. Stay warm everyone, not sure if I'll be posting much today, think I'll be resting. I'd better go now, Nurse Airy has made my breakfast.

    Evening everyone!..... sounds like a good day today!...... glad you're feeling better MS...... Deb got some rest!..... Charlie found a home..... Beau is doing better.... just to name a few!

    .... I had a really productive day today, hired a new gal that I think will be great, and had a really good meeting, with a great turnout for the office!....

    .... I picked up a beautiful piece of filet of beef to grill tonite for MiniAV, Mr.AV and I..... some cute 'lil potatoes to bake (oiled & salted).... and fresh collard greens...... yummmmmmooooo!!!!! Mr. AV still has a HUGE piece of my Mom's famous carmel cake from Son's B'day this weekend, so life is good!.......

    ...... what's happening with you guys while I was at 'that place'?

    Nuthin much here AV, have been sleeping off and on most of the afternoon :)

    Did find an interesting appetizer in the latest issue of BH&G:

    Olives and cheese baked and served in an inexpensive terra-cotta plant saucer (use a new one), Combine a cup of olives in oil with 8 ounces of feta cheese and bake @ 350 degrees until the cheese is soft and lightly browned. Two bricks and a tealight candle stand in for a warming dish (for presentation).
