   hey everybody - I "joined up" about a month ago and you all have been so welcoming - thanks so much! I love chatting with other "crazy cat people" (my daughter's name for me and others of my ilk) because cats are the greatest! In answer to your questions - yes, I have two kitties now, a tabby kitty named Romey (we adopted her from the ASPCA about 5 years ago) and a tortie named Holly (my niece rescued her from the side of a road in Indiana after somebody hit her with a car; she's fine now). This coming Tuesday we are getting another kitty: a Siamese kitten named Hemi (I'll be changing it, I'm thinking to Olivia) who we are getting from a guy who can't keep her. She's about 4 months old and a real sweetie. Hopefully I'll be posting pictures of her soon - wish me luck!

   Hi and welcome hcl. I came on here initially just to enjoy the kittens and then ventured into the chat and the rest as they say is history. My cats are my kids and very important parts of our family!! :-)
