I just wanted to say hello to everyone and explain why I haven't been on so much lately. My work is at an accounting firm, so those of you who know how busy it gets during tax season will understand why I no longer have time to stop by as often as I did. With my workload increasing and working longer hours and also on Saturdays, I don't have time to visit like I would like. I will try to check in whenever possible, but it may be awhile before I can really get involved again.
I really miss you all...this is the best forum ever!!

I understand ladykat, it is flu season and I am much busy at work too. Sometimes I wonder if it would be easier to work with paper instead of people, but I have never done my own taxes (my father is one of those evil IRS people and does em for me)

Bless you LadyKat for the work you do ! I don't do my own taxes either. They befuddle me. My tax guy just moved to the east coast, but will continue to do my taxes. Thankfully !!
bhm... I would rather work with people some days. Shuffling papers or staring at a computer screen all day is boring.

Just a quick thanks. I'm not involved in the actual preparation of taxes, but I do data entry of information and do the billing for the company's two locations (which always triples during tax time) as well as my regular data entry of bookkeeping and clerical jobs when needed, so I am busy almost constantly for the 3 months.
It just feels like family on the forum and I want to keep up with what's going on. Whenever I can get a few minutes, I'll pop in just to keep up with the TDK family.Posted 4 years ago by LadyKat of IA #

LK.I fully understand. I work for a non-profit and am currently pulling the information together to get tax letters out to our donors. I am trying to get it so that people get just one letter that lists all contributions and not one for each different campaign.
