Mmmmmmmmmmm, yummy. You did say hidden under a cover in the bar area didn't you Deb? I got all my weeding done and pruning of roses. Now I just have to wait for the forecast rain so I can get my broccoli,mini cauliflower and cabbages planted. The way food prices are going I think I'll grow as much of my winter veges as possible. Thankfully we had good pumpkin crop which I'll harvest soon.

Evening, ladies, I am at my wits end with Maisie here. She ALWAYS runs out of the room whenever I open the door and protests vociferously at being chased and caught and put back in but now she is frantic to get out and since she's been calling all night, above the noise of the television, I have belatedly realised she's obviously back in season (and not yet spayed). Maisie, you are just not going to get out, and Jasper wouldn't do you any good even if he weren't scared to death of you, so just give it up already...
MS, I am definitely going to have a go at planting some winter vegies. I've actually eaten two of my own courgettes, mmmm, they were pretty yummy.

ROTFL at the Jasper comment. Jcat, just watch that Miss Maisie doesn't attract unwanted attention to your house. Her spa day can't arrive too soon.
HRH is acting oddly tonight, she came in for supper and then went crazy trying to get back out. Airy kidnapped her and carried her off to her bedroom and I haven't seen her since. HRH spent last night outside, she pestered me until I let her out.
My courgettes are growing their last fruit at the moment and I'm not sure if the new one I planted wil get to fruiting stage before the weather gets cold.Posted 1 year ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

No it can't, MS, but it won't happen until she goes to the shelter (they get everything done at once with their own vet) and since there's still no room at the inn, plus a bout of URIs, I don't think she'll be going as soon as she should... She needs a lovely forever home, where she can be doted on as she deserves. She is so sweet and affectionate, she will be a beautiful companion for someone, and still full of fun.

Morning all!...... how I wish I had enough 'yard' to even attempt to grow my own veggies!......so far, I've only managed to keep a big plant of cat nip alive, and a tiny bit of thyme....... last year, the squirels ate the little tomatoes and my chives.......
..... poor Miss Maisie!........ I hope she does find her furrever home soon, and I agree with MS, the 'spa' day can't come soon enough!.......

Night Kiwis.........rest well!
.... Morning Deb and Kilroy!.......looks to be a cool start to an absolutely beautiful day today here....... we could really use some rain too, if for nothing else than to wash all this pollen away!
..... prayers and white lights continuged for all the devastation still going on the other side of the world - Hawaii, New Zealand, and Japan.......and many others.....

AV, tks my head is behaving so-so but better than yesterday so thats a good thing. Supposed to be in the mid 80's here today, would rather have it cooler but will take it.
