    Charlie has been sneezing alot! and now his eye looks irritated. I'm worried that he may be getting an Upper Respiratory Infection but he is already on antibiotics... could he still be getting one???

    He could be getting a URI. Like human hospitals, vet offices are a great place for kitties to pick up infections, and his immune system is already compromised a bit.

    Keep his face wiped clean and make sure he doesn't get dehydrated. It might help to mix his wet food with warm water which will both ensure he's getting enough liquid and also help him smell his food.

    If he seems to be getting worse, another vet visit may be needed but call first since the vet might be able to help via phone.

    ok thank you. Charlie has been eating canned food more than the dry stuff so he is already getting wet food. but I do still give him water with a syringe if I notice he hasn't been drinking water. I have a topical antibiotic for the eye, so I will keep putting that on there and hope for the best!

    Oh and I should probably let you all know that for the past 2 days Charlie has been feeling a little better. He has been running and playing like nothing was wrong. :)

    You can put a little bit more water in the wet food, if he will eat the wet food with a bit of pedialyte that would be even better.

    Oh, just a little bit, BF, you don't want to make it so slushy that it's unappealing, you want him to think it's the same as usual, maybe just a little bit wetter. I am so glad Charlie doesn't have cancer. {{{BF & Charlie}}} I hope that the prognosis is good for your little boy and I'm sure with your loving care, it will be.

    Thanks for asking! Eh, I think he is getting sick :( both of his eyes are red and watery. And he is sneezing like crazy. He is already getting an antibiotic twice daily so I am going to call the vet tomorrow to see if maybe she could give him a stronger dose. With his immune system not strong I don't want him to get any sicker.
