   sleepover !!!
   pawdicures with nail polish !!!
   a great time for all kitties, male and female !!!
   lots of great food !!!
   a salmon cake with fish frosting !!!
   catnip catnip catnip !!!

   please keep this partee a secret until 11 am on Saturday
   at Cheri's (aka CatarinaMelinda TDK ID)

   we have a wormhole entrance right next door to us !!!

   Yay, party!! Leela is already packing her backpack and deciding on presents. She remembers how Spice was really nice to her when she was little and would love to celebrate her birthday with her. She also thinks Caterina and Melinda are adorable little girls and wants to help them celebrate their very first birthday!
   I haven't told Comet yet because I don't know if he can keep a secret!

   My five will be there and would like to bring Cousin Spike and his new brother, Jax. It will be Jax's first time through a wormhole since there wasn't room for one in the hoarder house he was rescued from.

   Sophie D wants to bring her soft pawll set and she has a new set of leggings to show off. Lady Coco hopes there will be other senior kitties for her to hang out with as she doesn't want to stay home by herself (Mom and Dad will be with their CPA getting the bad news for April 15.)

    Duchess and Gabriel would love to come, but alas cannot. It's their Daddy's birthday and promised to be there to celebrate with him. They do however send some toys and cat nip.

    Willow spent the summer of her first birthday at the shelter, hoping she would get a home before they ran out of space...she would be happy to help Caterina and Melinda celebrate a much happier birthday! Especially if there is FOOD! She also is excited about trying a nice red color for her claws, to go with her chocolate-toned coat. She is an accomplished food-thief so will sneak a bag of chicken breasts out of the freezer to bring "I can too carry it all by myself, Catkin!"
    Catkin is very grateful that his furmomma was rescued from the streets by a kind human before he was born. He will bring their "cat pillow" for those less-fortunate kitties-without-humans to snuggle on (if he can get it through the wormhole; Willow can't help because she's dragging a big bag of chicken!) *He also reminds his Meowmy that kitten season is coming up and she should donate something to the group that saved him so that other kittens can be saved from a short life on the mean streets.*
    Zappo is a bit old for kittens and music and games, but he can hang out with Coco. He will bring his heated bed to rest his old bones in.
    Polly is a fraidy-cat and will peek at the wormhole but won't go through.

    Sounds like fun. Emily, Eko and Leo would love to attend their first TDK party. Emily would like to know if there will be a "cats only" room. She loves other cats but isn't so sure about strange humans. If you can't spare a room, under a bed will do. Leo promises not to shed ringworm spores on your guests. Eko said he will let me Zoom Groom him without complaint that day so he looks his party best!

    Sophie D, please suggest a nice red-orange for tortie Willow, NOT fire-engine red for claws. Catkin, I know you are a sweetheart, but please don't donate ALL the cat beds in the house...Meowmy can't afford to replace them all AND pay for a surgery consultation for Polly!

    Catkin feels badly that he has started his spring shed and no longer has his mane. Catkin honey, you still are a handsome boy with a gorgeous floofy tail.

    If Willow and Catkin don't come back, I will know it's because they've stuffed themselves so they no longer fit though the wormhole ;)

    Might have to re-think about Dave coming to party on Saturday. I heard him scuffling about yesterday morning and thought he was on his litter tray.....(Lovely at 7am!!) Didn't think any more of it until I was literally running out of the door to work, just remembered to pick up my book from the coffee table in the front room.....Dave had decided to chew through the bag of litter that we had left in the front room. There was Dave in the middle of the floor sitting in a big pile of fresh litter!!! He looked like one of the lions in Trafalgar Square and was VERY pleased with himself. Had to clear up when I got home last night or I would have been late for work. There was no Da Bird play last night!!!

    the three kitties awoke to see Cheri's night work. there were helium balloons on the ceiling with streamers down to the floor. the tables had been covered with brightly colored paper tablecloths. there were lots of pillows scattered everywhere.

    delicious smells were coming from the kitchen and dining room. as Catarina, Melinda, and Spice stared at everything, Cheri said "Happy Birthday you 3". everykitty got pets and scritches.

    it was the beginning to a wonderful day !!!
