Hello,
My screen name is Trikittymama..I have three kitties. The first, a female rescue girl, is almost 1-1/2 years old, the other two are brothers, which were not in a rescue facility but would have been sent there shortly. Long story there, but one of my little guys is getting neutered today! His brother was fixed two weeks ago today (they are Halloween kitties!) but the one who is getting fixed today was a little anemic and had to take kitty geritol for two weeks...hope he is better! They will call me later if not...

Poor little baby, but the surgery is for his own good. Not that he will be believing that this morning. I hope that all goes well.

O.K. First of all, my oldest, 1-1/2 yrs, is Trixie; she is a combination if I've ever seen one! She has ice-blue eyes (like a siberian husky dog), a bengal-like tale (black w/while stripes) and caramel-colored markings (like a target on her side). Siamese ears, tho. The two brothers were born around the first of October, but are all black! BTW, the surgery on "Dusty" (the runt of the two brothers) went great. Zody (short for Zodiac) is the healthiest (and will probably be the larger of the two - you should see his paws! They are HUGE!!!) and was neutered two weeks ago. In addition, Dusty had to get her FLV & distemper shots today so he will probably be rather "out of it" tonight. We originally got the two kittens because the older cat, Trix is not very affectionate or a lap-kitty (the two boys definitely are) and my husband tried to blame it on her being a rescue kitty, i.e., something was wrong with her. NOT SO. She is affectionate when she wants to be. On her conditions. Some cats are just like that. I will post those pictures on Catster when they are available to me...my husband is the photographer extraorindare!!

I'm happy to hear that the surgery went well for Dusty. We have taken to referring to a spay or neuter as a "trip to the spa" so our kitties won't get upset. :-) I am eager to see the photos of your kitty crew.

Hi TKM..Your family sounds Purrrrfect...and I know you will all love being aboard the 'Good Ship TDK'....we've become travelers to kitty towns, kitty homes, kitty adventures! Give Dusty a scritch from us. I'm sure he was very brave with his trip to the spa. I bet Zody will recognize the changes and will be a supportive bro. *unless he's like mine who chided..nanner, nanner, nanner* Kitty's will be kitties. No wonder we love them so much.
