Fighting a cold. Today I feel like the poop. There is no bottled water in the fridge and the tap here is terrible.

Now, MM, listen to MCW because she is very wise in the ways of the world. Scotch is much like an antispectic and so of course it's good for you! You can either swallow it, which is the preferred method, or pour it directly onto a wound. Since you feel like you have a cold, I would recommned a good slug, a brief gargle and then swallow. Repeat as necessary.
Bellantara, Lady is indeed regal looking! I suspect that she knows that!
Annecetera, you will have only yourself to blame if we all go stark, raving mad while muttering "Happy Happy Joy Joy".

I need a drink, too!!! I got caught in a torrential downpour on the way home - nasty! I'mm still shivering and my eyes sting from getting the rain blown it them. We even had a tornado in Boynton, about 12-15 miles north of me. Flash flood warnings all over the place. Yuck!
Hmmmmmm, how about an Irish Coffee?
