    Perhaps you can ask your vet. It's a priority to bring a new kitty to the vet for a checkup/evaluation and set up kitten shots anyway, plus some vets give out complimentary kitten care goodie bags. My Comet got a couple of cans of kitten food and a small bag of crunchies, along with pamphlets and fact sheets that had TONS of helpful information. Good Luck!

    Both. They're kind of the same thing. This is a new baby who is coming under your roof, and having a vet is like having a pediatrician for a hoomin baby.

    could you give me advice on what to give him apart from canned food becaus most are not good brands and just make the kitten sick..
    im talking about like chicken or other stuff that i could give him rich of protein and all this that cute kitten needs.

    I don't know what was said, but you are welcome to come back if you'd like. Cat food is a pretty hot topic here on TDK and some people can get pretty worked up over it. But in the end we all love cats an just want what's best for them and we all try our best to feed our cats the best food we can. Don't take offense.
