  3. Good morning all. It is a wet and cold day here. We are in for this kind of weather till next Monday from what I hear. currently 43 degrees out and raining.

I will take a mocha with whip cream and baileys, please. Also, an omelete with three kinds of cheese, a side of extra crispy bacon, and some guava or mango juice please.

::goes over and checks on Pipa's Mum. She is snoring lightly and twitching in her sleep like our kitties do::::

Weather is nasty here, too, Karin. It was totally foggy and damp this morning - very unusual.

  9. Greetings from beautiful, tropical Cleveland. While the winter sand continues to fall, I crank away at my book, taking the occasional break to eat, freshen up, and play computer games. I will, however, answer that cheeseburger that's calling me, along with fries, a Bailey's milkshake, fruit salad, and some mulled wine with extra wine and a small bit of butter.

  10. Awwww, cutie Harry! Where is Buster?

  11. Oh,my goodness - it is COLD here! We had a funeral to go to (no, no one in my family but the mom of a special friend) and I thought that I would turn into a popsicle at the cemetery. Is there any hot buttered rum?

GD, I read an article yesterday that made me think of the Bobster. The author was worried that her kitty was bored while she was at work. She each morning she hides cat toys around - like one in a paper bag, maybe one in a box, etc. And she leaves them in different places every day. She said that when she gets home the kitty has usually left the toys in a little pile but he was busy all day trying to find them. Maybe that would keep the Bobster busy until you find the purrfect Bobette!

  12. Awwwww, that's cute, WWM! Maybe I'll try that!

  13. Sounds like a good idea WWM! Trying to find a "bobette" sounds so cute too. Too bad Susie isn't nearby. She has loads of kitties that Bobster might like. Misty would probably be a good one for Bob.

  15. Hello all- one of my workmates has a recipe for Baileys ice-cream. If anyone wants it I'll try and prise it out of him.

  17. Baileys Ice Cream
    Servings:4 ServingsListed in Categories:Desserts
    Ice cream
    2 c Double cream
    1 c Full fat milk
    1 c Castor sugar
    1/2 c Baileys
    Pinch salt
Whisk all of this stuff together until all the sugar has been dissolved.

Then freeze as you would normally freeze ice cream, either in an ice cream
maker or in a tub in the freezer whisking every half hour or so.

Because of the alcohol content of this ice cream it will usually take
around 12 hours to become hard. It does freeze hard so taking it out the
freezer 10 minutes before serving is advised. It does melt quickly so you
    have to eat it fast.

Don't put any more Baileys into the mix. 1/2 a cup may not seem much but
the flavour comes through very strongly.

  18. Hey, GD, I know the feeling. I was going crazy in my house yesterday.

What's this about a new kitty?

    Posted 4 years ago by Cats4Cats #

  19. WWM and GD I hide cat treats around the house for the kits to fin. I put them in shoes and on the DVD shelves in paper bags. They somehow manage to find them all.

Sorry I am so late today. I have been in tax reporting hell trying to get all my letters out to donors. I just printed the last batch and handed them to my intern a moment ago.

I would love a big bowl of cincinnati style chili (3-way) with a grilled cheese and bacon sandwich.

If I go out and come back in can I have an extra Baileys?

  20. KK's Friend Mike's Bailey's Ice-cream

    500ml (1 pint) whipped cream
    4 or 8 tablespoons Baileys
2/3 can sweetened condensed milk (Carnation brand in USA)
2 candy bars crushed (optional) - we use a Crunchie which is similar to a Butterfinger.

    Mix all together and freeze.

  21. Great idea with the treats, Ppearson - I'll have to try that!

Catherine, I have decided to get The Bobster yet another present - the ONE thing he does not have: a baby sister kitten!!! YAY!
I'm worried little man is by himself too much and needs a companion. I'm hoping he'll agree with me!
I hope to be able to find a female kitten with the right purr-sonality this weekend!

  22. I think at his age a young companion is a good idea. Of course, you know this means there will be two mischief-makers in your house now!

    Posted 4 years ago by Cats4Cats #

  23. No no, Catherine - I'm looking for the most perfectly well-behaved kitten this time. Maybe she can teach Bobsky some manners!

Ohhhh, KK. The Baileys sounds delicious. I love Butterfingers!

  24. Yay for Bobbie!

  25. Actually, in my experience, GD, the older cat corrupts the younger one!

  27. Uh-oh! I may have trouble on my hands........

(I HATE the "you move too fast thing - I get it half the time!)

Posted 4 years ago by GreatDane #

  28. I get it, too, GD. The mind boggles. How is it possible to move too fast for the Internet?
