  1. Evening Deb, love the "trained by Hazel" kitty. It's cold here tonight too but at lest our new insulation is working and it's not freezing inside. We have resisted lighting the fire because this weather won't be hanging around for long.

  2. Understand about the fire, did the same here with the a/c. Glad that the insulation is working and you aren't be frozen out.

  3. Just sitting back here watching TV for a while and trying not to fall asleep.

  4. Sitting here trying to do the same (not fall asleep), watching some of the fires in Texas and doing the terrible damage.

  5. Morning MS and Deb!..... love the pics!..... hey, I think one of them sole 'Venus' pose.....

Venus swears she originated that one! LOL

.... glad the new insulation is working well MS, amazing how that stuff works - when Mr. AV and I re-did our house renovation (again!) we double insulated, and it really made a difference in this 102 year old home that we live in!

  7. Just had a great laugh, we have a small electric candle, it's battery operated and flickers like a real candle. You have to blow on it to light it and also to blow it out. Well airy is sitting here blowing and blowing and that electric light in not blowing out but every time she blows the lighting past lifts out of the cup and whacks her on the mouth. We're laughing so hard Airy can't even pucker up to blow now. Oh my aching ribs.
Sorry to post and run Deb but I am of to bed before I face plant on the keyboard for the night. Sleep well when you're done at
that place' and headbonks to The Crew.
Jcat if you get to the NS tonight I hope the nasty weather has eased and sweet dreams for you and chin scritches for Libs,Jas & Millie.
    Nighty night

  10. Oh AV, goodmorning. Another beautiful day in FL?
Deb, that video is hilarious. We wonder what the Queen would think of it if she ever saw it. We think she may smile wryly.

  11. Jan, supposed to be 95 degrees here today, too warm for my liking though.

  12. Send it our way please Deb and we'll send you any rain.

  13. ........ Yes, MS, another mid-80s sunny wonder (I almost feel guilty saying that when I know you have freezing ickiness and the mid part of the US is in terrible storm turmoil).......... prayers go out to CM, KK, MC, Joan and manay many others in that mid section!........I know those tornadoes are scary!

........Abby sends headbonks to HRH, she's still trying (reluctantly) to get used to her 'wet food'......... she managed to eat 'a little' yesterday, of course mixed with a little crunchies...... but this morning she absolutely 'turned the tail' to it :(

... oh Deb, 95 is warm for me too!...... but I know it's just a matter of a few weeks before we're there....... I have the feeling this summer may be a scorcher!

  14. AV, how does Abby like fish? Maybe a bit of fish with her meat would help if she likes it. Don't worry about mentioning the weather, I can imagine we have the lovely hot sun. In fact a do believe it will be a warmer day tomorrow.

  15. .....MS, she's never cared for the 'fish/seafood' flavors of dry food, or of treats - she seems to prefer the chicken/turkey flavors...... however, wet food is a 'new medium/texture' for her, so maybe I'll try a can of the tuna flavor to see how she does.........

right now, we're at the stage, where I mix about 1/2 a small can with a small scoop of her crunchies...... I put it down, and she 'ignores' it....... I leave it there for about 3-4 hours, and somewhere during that time, when I'm not 'looking' most of it dissappears.... suspicious!........

....... I clean the bowl and don't repeat until the evening feeding time.......I will say that slowly, more and more is 'dissappearing'..... but never a clean plate, and never 'in plain site' where it can be verified that she has actually sampled the new food........

....... Cuddles, on the other hand, licks her plate clean as soon as I put it down!..... who knew?

  16. LOL, cats & children! They'll both keep you guessing and surprise you.
    Nighty night, this time all.

  17. Isn't that the truth!...... Rest well, MS!

  18. AV, did you see that Tom Jones is going to be at the Hard Rock in Orlando this Saturday? I thought it sounded like fun. But the cheapest tickets are 65 bucks!

  19. Morning Dee, he is quite the showman isn't he :)

Posted 1 year ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  20. Morning Dee!....... no, I didn't see that, but WOW, $76 for the nose bleed?...... I'm afraid to guess what a 'decent' seat would cost!....... I'm surprized he still commands that kind of money!...... last time I paid that kind of premium, I saw Paul McCartney at the St. Times Forum in Channelside with Daughter, and it was WORTH EVERY PENNEY!!!!!! (but then I'm a huge Beatles fan)

Posted 1 year ago by AV #

  21. That's what I thought, AV. BTW, I double-checked and the cheapest seats are 65 bucks. You can get a standing-room only ticket for 47 bucks, but there is no way that I can stand for two hours anymore! The most expensive seats available are 111.55.

Yeah, I would pay big money to see Paul McCartney! I guess Tom Jones must be able to still command the big prices. I bet it's a good show.

  24. Jane, waiting for the time to pass to go home. We have been looking up bugs here, those and watching the TX fires and the tornado damages on tv. How was your day?

Posted 1 year ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  25. Coooooooooold, Deb, and windy! I stayed indoors and proofread! Tomorrow I have to take Jasper back to the vet for a urine sample. His kidney test results were not good, they were very bad. :(

  26. You are up late, Jcat!

Posted 1 year ago by Dee #

  27. Am I? I am off to shower and bed in a minute, Dee. There's a late night Aussie cop show I like on Monday nights here, been watching that.

Posted 1 year ago by jcat #

  28. Jane, good wishes for Jasper @ the v-e-t and hope that they can do something for his kidneys.
