  1. i am taking care of 3 orpaned kittens proably 3 weeks old. the one baby hasnt use the bathroom in 2 days and tummy is very bloated. ive stimulated him befor and after each feeding with warm wash rags what else can i do

  3. Ashnicrho, I have no experience with this but others do and I am hoping that they will see this. It is slow on the weekends but there's so much knowledge here and surely someone will see your question.

  4. The kitten is now spitting up a brown smelly liquid and vet offices are closed on sundays where i live

  7. Is there an emergency vet clinic? I know that they cost more but it certainly does sound as if this little one might have a blockage.

  8. There should be an emergency vet number you can get. Call other vets, one of them should leave an emergency number on their message. You need to get that cat in ASAP.

  13. Hes no longer vomiting but pooed a tiny bit after i massaged his belly could he be constipated is there any way to unconstipate him? his energy level seems to be fine

  14. A tiny smigden of veg oil in his food might help with that. And yes by all means a visit to the vet is warranted.

  16. Let us know how you get on. The trouble with such tiny ones is that they are very fragile and can crash very easily.

  17. I was once told by a vet to give my constipated puppy a bit of mayonnaise and it seemed to work and he loved it at the same time. Wonder if it could help with kitties too??? Poor little one. I think it's wonderful that you're taking on the little trio. God Bless and the best of luck to you! =)

  18. Pumpkin usually works well, but the kitten probably has worms. Vet visit is a must.

  21. I'm sorry you lost the little one, Ashnicrho. Sometimes they just aren't meant to spend very long here before they move on to the Rainbow Bridge. Take comfort in knowing that you did everything you could and that the kitten knew love, warmth and care through the end of his life on earth.
