Hi everyone my name is rn4restrn(run Forrest run):)! I have had the daily kitten emails sent everyday in my email box and it always makes me smile. Thought it was about time I signed up.
I am the slave, opps, I mean the owner two cats. Indie(rescue cat) is about 5 now. I got him for my birthday two days before my husband left for Iraq. He was my company while Hubby was away. Indie is the coolest cat in the world, except when he plays in his water dish. Fill dish, splash water with paws, meow for more water, repeat! Don't get me started on those that self fill, he drenched the floor completely when I bought him one of those. He runs out of his bowl water and is so happy to move on to the toilet. Imagine wet paw prints eveywhere.
I had another cat named Jonzie(rescue cat), but he is no longer with us. If I catch the monster that hit him I will hiss, and tear his eyes out with my claws. Wait a minute that's the cat talking again. LOL! Jonzie passed away 2 days before Christmas while my children( not the furry ones) were away from home. I searched and searched to find a new baby for my kids.(ya know how hard it is to find a kitten at the end od December?) I finally found Scout. Jonzie was a silly boy he would only play with one toy, his purple stuffed frog. Tried all kinds of different toys, but no dice. So I went to Wal-Mart and bought eveyrone the had. So Jonzie had 10 purple frogs and we would rotate them in catnip to keep them fresh and yummy for him.
Scout is another rescue kitty, was left on a doorstep and abandoned and the rescue people had to had feed him and his sibs. Poor baby. He is a total nut case. Terrorizes big brother Indie and is trying to fill Jonzie's paws, but he is definitely his own cat. He loves to chase anything that moves, and likes sleeping in an empty 12 pack of Diet Coke. He also loves the purple frogs, but will chase anything that moves; real or imagined.
Both Indie and Jonzie are on Catster and now I need to put Scout on so everyone can see how cute he is. Hopefully I can do that tonight.
I can't wait to actually snoop around the site and see what there is to see. How do we go about pouncing on the kittens of the day by the way. I am sure if I read a bit I would find out, but my attention span isn't that great (chasing the ball, chasing the ball, stop, where did it go?) Man the kitty cat in me just keeps sneaking out. LOL!
Meowzers,
