   It is an Ex-Parrot! (Google on: "Monty Python" parrot)

   The kittehs are working furiously to set up the breakfast cafe on International Monty Python Day! (Google on "Monty Pyton"; they're a British comedy troupe from the 1970's that did lots of silly things, including a movie "Monty Python and the Holy Grail")

   There are eggs, spam, bacon, spam, coffee, spam, spam, tea and crumpets, spam and eggs! (Google on: "Monty Python" spam)

   There's anything you could want, as long as it has some SPAM in it (lol).

   Tonight hubs and my sister in law and I are going to see "Spamalot" :-)

   ..... did you know, Jay Leno showed 'funny' Mother's Day gifts this weekend, and one of them was none other than, yes, BACON perfume!....... (who knew)?

   Good morning! I'll take a couple of slices of Spam warmed in a skillet with a couple of eggs over-easy and a slice of toast.
   It was hot sleeping last night, even the cats wouldn't come to bed. Up in the 90's and down to the 60's by end of week.

    It's not pining, it's passed on! This parrot is no more! It has ceased to be! It's expired and gone to meet its maker! This is a late parrot! It's a stiff! Bereft of life, it rests in peace! If you hadn't nailed it to the perch, it would be pushing up the daisies! It's rung down the curtain and joined the choir invisible. This is an ex-parrot!

    Just butting in to share my creamed kale experience...just made some and it was fantastic. I have made creamed spinach many times...but I think I like the kale even better. I did saute some onions and garlic first and then added the kale and cream...really good and really easy! I used it in a colcannon recipe instead of cabbage...and added turkey sausage.

    Seriously Dee, does it taste like sorrel? My gran would make ?sp:szczaw soup, sour sort of sorrel-like soup. Picked it out of the lawn little fish shaped leaves...oy, memories!
