   Hey guys, can't have ANOTHER night go bye without our beloved Night Shift!.....

   ...... *runs in* and sets up the fountains - everything is flowing freely, anything your heart desires, virgin for those that don't 'imbibe'....... :)

   ..... the appetizers are 'to die for'..... all kinds of gourmet items ...... oysters, shrimp...... filet of beef..... veal...... lamb...... and all the sides you can imagine!

   ..... desserts???? ANYTHING CHOCOLATE!!!!!.......

   .... come in and relax.... unwind and tell us how your day was........

   ..... WELCOME ONE AND ALL TO THE NIGHT SHIFT!.....

   HHHHEEEELLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOO....... anyone up now???? are you all asleep?????

   ....... well, I had/made a great dinner tonite....... a kinda lasagna/spagetti kind of casserole, but BIG and covered with cheese (LOL)...... the 'college' ones loved it, even tho Dau is not well, and will probably have to go to the hospital tomorrow and have an exploratory surgery done!...... please, all prayers and white lights are welcome!

   Evening AV, I am home and very tried after the 10.5 hr drive. So will be taking a nap before too long, can't even focus enough to read backthreads.

   Hi all. *waves hello*

   AV, sounds like a yummy dinner. Sorry about anyone needing surgery.

   Azdebra, get some good sleep. *hands out soft fluffy pillow*

   Had a 5 p.m. appointment this evening for a contractor to come look at some house problems that need repair and give me a bid. By 7:30 p.m. he was no show, no call. So I left and took care of errands I needed to do. Got home at 9:30 p.m. and no messages left on the phone or note at the door. So guess I can cross him off the list of possibles. I'm surprised, as he came highly recommended by a plumbing company that gave me great service several months ago. I'll give him a few days to see if he calls back and had a legitimate reason, such as an emergency, for being a no show / no call. Hate it when that happens.

   Oh well, it's trash night, so time to change the litter trays and put everything out at the curb then get a good night's sleep. *yawn*

   Evening AV, Deb, and Marnet. Very busy around here--next week is the last week of school!! I start 3 Masters classes on Monday as well. Moved the kids home from college this weekend so I hurt! May be moving Mini SM back as she may be a summer RA.

   Deb have a good sleep!

    Mini SM is out on a date--I will never sleep until she is home. Funny how I had no problem when she was in the dorms--now that she is home I will not sleep until she gets home.

    No time to rest Marnet. I have finals for my students this week and classes end next Tuesday. I start my classes next Monday and they are only 5 1/2 weeks long. I can hold on to the end of June and then I can sleep!

    Busy day today and tomorrow. Gotta have the car at the shop at 9, then training at the rape crisis center, then work, then dinner with the inlaws. Whew! It's all good though :)

    Evening. Not a big fan of fungus. May as well scrape the black stuff off the shower curtain as far as I'm concerned. It's part way to being a mushroom! Just stopped in to say hi (and gross you out). Busy at work but trying to keep an eye on TDK at the same time. I'll take a virgin drink and some chocolate to keep me going.

    Evening all, I'll have KK's mushrooms, I can certainly show them the appreciation they deserve. Still as windy as here, very blustery and make you walk oddly type of gales. We've just finished dinner and are now relaxing.

    Stuffed Mushrooms (Hongos Rellenos de Chorizo)

    Ingredients
    1 Spanish chorizo (about 4 ounces), casing removed, see Cook's Note*
    18 large (about 2 1/2 to 3-inch) white mushrooms
    1/3 cup olive oil, plus 1 tablespoon
    1/3 cup finely diced onion
    1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons bread crumbs
    1/4 cup homemade or store-bought reduced-sodium chicken stock
    2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley leaves
    1/3 cup coarsely grated Manchego cheese

    Up late...I am a terrible sleeper.

    I thought that recipe looked great, too. I love the chef, Daisy Martinez, who created the recipe. She used to be Lidia Bastianich's sous chef.

    I'm sorry that you find sleep difficult Dee. Sometimes I have trouble sleeping too but it's mainly when Shadz decides that she wants most of the bed and up on the edge of the mattress.

    Early Sparrow Fart Morning Everyone!....... up early so that we can get Dau to the hospital for her scoping procedure this morning!....... I imagine it will be a lot of waiting, and probably only a 15 min. episode, but of course, I want to be with her......... Mr. AV, Son and MIL and I will be there and then I'll probably go into work for a while, but leave early.........

    promises to be a glorious day today, a little rain has cooled us off a bit and our high of 78 and sunny looks just perfect!

    ....... sorry you can't sleep Dee!...... *waves* good morning to MS, KK and Jcat (if she's around)....... hopes Deb is fast asleep.....

    Good morning, all! Sorry your daughter is not well, AV. Hope everything goes well today!
    I saw Glen Jr. last night for the first time in a few days. I've got to say, the zithromax seems to be doing him a world of good - he's even growing the fur back on his naked tummy! He wasn't happy with me since I gave him his meds and then checked on his gums (which are also much improved from what I could see) - but he got lots of treats to make up for it :)
