The Kits have been up since the break of dawn checking all the details. There is a huge buffet filled with shrimp, seafood, chicken and other treats loved by kitties. There are huge bowls of kitty treats (a lot of their favorite, party mix in all flavors). Some of the cafe kitties are moonlighting--a big handsome tuxie and a sleek calico are manning the catnip bar. Several kitties are running about setting up the buffet and making sure all the cushions are comfey. There is also a large fountain with water flowing on all sides so no one need go thirsty. Sassy has a lovely peach dress to match the markings on her face, Violet is wearing turquoise to match her eyes, Tiger Lily is in red, Molly favors blue to match her eyes and Sophie is lovely in green. Dressed and groomed they run for the hall eagerly awaiting their guests. Let the party begin

Wow, this building sure is bustling with the cafe in one room and the paarty going on in the banquet hall as special Anniversary! Come on in and join the fun!
Dot & Crockey will join the paaarty kits a bit later for they are sleeping in this morning for meomy got in a bit late last nite so they were up to greet her in their speical luving ways! -

Georgie's mama left the entrance to the wormhole open for him when she left for work this morning, and he can't wait to see his friends! WHOOOSH...THUMP!
Here I am! I brought a dozen mice (not real, don't worry :) ) for kits to play with. Happy annifurrsery, babies. You are super lucky to have found such a nice hoomin.

Fred and Cricket are in their casual party clothes...Cricket has on some cute capri's and a flowery yellow shirt, matching her eyes. Fred is dressed in a Hunter Green shirt--to match HIS eyes and a pair of jeans...they are so excited to see their friends. They slide through the worm hole with a salmon cake and little nip bouquets for all their friends.

Happy Anniversary kitties!
Leela has decided on a butter-yellow dress that looks pretty with her golden eyes. Comet found a matching bow-tie among the Shaddo/Jiggs collection that doesn't look like it was ever worn! They are bringing lobster soda and mini-crab cakes.
Comet is excited to meet the babies as well as Willow and Luna. Leela is going to make sure he meets Sassy, Violet, Tiger Lily, Molly, Zappo, Willow, Catkin, George, Fred, Cricket, Dot and Crockey as well. Actually, she thinks he already met Crockey and Dot, but wants to ensure he learns good manners. Is Hermes coming? Leela hopes so, hehe! Crockey has roused Dot to tell her of the fun afternoon plan as Anniversary Party. They are now getting organized with their gear & gifts & soon will woosh thru the wormhole to join the other revelers! Crockey decides to bring the Anniversary kits a Twist-kit game of their own to enjoy...it is fun and good exercise for kits of all ages. Dot is bringing a large potted catmint plant for them too. She also is bringing one for Polly who is in surgery & will pass it along to her furfamily members to take home. Crockey has been making catnip biscuits to bring as treat and Dot is bringing a large bag of her fave hi-protein treats for all to enjoy. It is now time to woosh thru the wormhole just in time for lunch...WOOSH...we are here...!

Wow, the party is in full swing. The older cats have staked out the best cushions and have taken plates filled with yummy treats back to their spots where they can keep an eye on the activity. Violet, Tiger Lily and Sassy are waiting near the worm hole to greet their guests and point out all the party attractions. Cats of all kinds are running excitedly up and down ramps and stopping to wrestle whenever the mood strikes them. several kitties are lined up to play the twist kit game. What fun. All the neighbor cats are coming in too and also Maxie and Pippy the rest to Sassy's litter. She is so happy to see them and starts washing their ears--they squirm, not in public please mama. They have also brought along their new fur sisters and brothers.

Leela actually took Comet by the arm and yelled "let's play with that", pointing to a ramp and a swing, where several kitties are playing. Comet wonders to himself, "mama will never believe Leela took the initiative to play with me!"

Some of the older and younger kits have come back over to the house so they can do some serious napping. A lot of the kits are doing some serious munching and some are still looking for friends that haven't arrived yet. Someone has started the karaoke and kits are lined up for their chance to yowl er I mean sing.

Polly's surgery went well and she may go home tomorrow, so then maybe a kit or two would help bring her bed thru the wormhole Sunday?
Zappo let his Meowmy brush out his fur, especially the parts he can't reach, and is wearing his blue bowtie. He would be happy to rest in a sunny windowsill with the other senior kitties. Catkin and Willow are dressed up; Catkin in his red bowtie and Willow with a copper-colored collar, bracelets and bow in her tail. Catkin doesn't want to wear too much jewelry; it would interfere with his running and wrestling! Those ramps sound fun!
They will raid the refrigerator and bring some of those yummy chicken livers Meowmy freezes for special treat days. Willow, save some for the anniversary kits! Zappo will bring a pack of furry mice for Sassy to "hunt" now that she no longer has to hunt to eat. Kits, go easy on the 'nip!

Eko, Emily and Leo arrived this morning but I just checked in to see how they are doing. Emily spent the first hour hiding under a table until she was sure no strange humans were around. Now that she sees its all cats, she's circulating and meeting the others. She spins around every once in a while to see her pale green party dress twirl. Eko and Leo are running around the ramps...seeing if other female cats enjoy a good game of chase like their sister Emily does. They will all be ready for their long afternoon nap soon. Hope the senior kitties don't mind sharing the cushions. Happy anniversary kitties and thanks for the party invite.

Partykits stop & applaud as they find out the good news on special friend Polly. Many paws go up to offer help thru worm hole tomorrow. In honor of the good news they start a happy conga line around the dance floor to celebrate. Dot & Crockey join in on the conga fun along with Comet, Leela, Georgie, Fred, Cricket, etc...

Violet and Tiger Lily rush to greet Catarina and Melinda they are great friends of near the same age. Molly rushes to Spice so they can enjoy talking about the "younger" generation. As the afternoon wears on more and more kits seek the comfort of a cushion to enjoy a nap. Of course some of the kits enjoy staying just where they are usually the higher the better to get their beauty sleep. The music gets turned down to a soft background noise. Once in while a wrestling match breaks out but for the most part everyone is resting up so they can party into the night.

Dot rouses Crockey from his catnap after checking the TDK Patio looking for meowmy. Not spotting her she reminds Crockey they must say there good-byes & thank you's soon for they must head back before meowmy returns home from her day. Crockey yawns & stretches, rises to his feet looking for anyone still awake to bid farewell & see you again soon. Dot spots Violet & Tigerlily cuddled by Catrina, Melinda & Spice & whispers, it was nice to visit with you, hope to see you again soon! They both gather their gear & head back to the worm hole soon to woosh back to brewtown to tell meomy of the great time they had today...Woooosh & they are gone!

I'll be glad to keep an eye on them CAM. I know what mischief kittens that age can get into. Dot and Crockey can come back at any time during the weekend as this party is to go on all weekend. Sunday night there will be a fireworks display. The kittens are all starting to stir from their afternoon naps, stretching and purring. There is a lot of grooming and trips to the litter boxes placed in small side rooms of the hall. The buffet has been refreshed and the racing on ramps begin anew. Some of the girls gather to do nails, etc in one of the rooms set up for such fun stuff.

Stubby Louise is upset that she is missing a party! She talks Tigger and Spike into letting her and her big brother Izzy into going with Tigger and Spike along to make sure they don't get into trouble. They missed the start because Mommy is still on vacation.

Thats OK SM. This party is going strong and we decided a weekend long party would make it so cats (and their hoomins) can come (and go) as they please. Stubby Louise and Co. can come on in and join the fun. The other kits are just pleased to see them and they are soon involved in the chase games. My kits were all a little miffed that they missed Stubby's party as their mama didn't get with the program. They can make up for lost time now.

Some of the kits are sleeping in. Others are lazily making their way to the breakfast buffet. A few of them are sleeping off a little too much nip. LOL The party is starting slowly this morning they are visiting quietly so as not to wake the sleepers. There is sun this morning so quite a few of them are in sunny spots and enjoying bird watching.

I heard the creak of the wormhole during the night; they just wanted to stop in for their pjs and a change of clothes for today. Leela chose a powder blue dress and Comet went for a blue jumper - appropriate for a little boy!

LOL @ Leela. My girls came home early this morning to make sure I got my wake up call whether I needed it or not. They changed into more casual attire for today with jeans and t-shirts. The party crew is still moving slow--after all they like to get their beauty sleep. A few of the kittens have started running up and down the ramp and wrestling. By general consent the karoke machine is still off until almost everyone is awake and ready to party
