My sweetheart is still having problems w/whatever is going on w/her mysterious virus. She's back to having the original symptoms she had when I first took her to the vet. Like their's something caught in her throat. I've gone to the vet's office & they refuse to let Anyone pay on a payment plan anymore bcuz of a few bad apples not paying their bills on time.
Now that I've had my teeth taken care of,I have no more funds to take her in just to have these guessing games on tests that aren't conclusive of anything specific. I have $64 dollars in the bank till the first of next month. It's a good thing I'm familiar w/how to budget tight.
Anyways....I'm doing everything I can possibly do to help her with what I can. I've had to coddle & most times force feed her so she'll eat. I've made homemade Pediolyte & am forcing that in her every hour-on-the-hour. Her ability to fight me is gone. She's dehydrated anyways. Throw lethargic in,along w/her temps. being way low. There's no more I can do for her. I need this turned around & fast. Whether it's coincidence or the real mccoy....She needs your Prayers!! I'm staying on the side of it being the real thing.
Please send your loving Thoughts & Prayers her direction as well as mine. It's one of those times where all is happening at once. My mouth is still hurting from dental procedures(going to the dent. this Friday). My Ms.Hissy is playing hide-&-seek again & looking really bad. And the last thing I needed was my nighttime cuddlebug to not get over whatever it is sher seems to have.

Thanks all!! Your thoughts & Prayers mean alot & they help me to stay strong & thinking positive that she'll get thru this.
BC...I have a portable heater that works great to keep the room warm. At night,she crawls under the covers & snuggles w/me so I don't worry about her, except when she gets those attacks like she's got something stuck in her throat.
GD...she's had no blood tests done. I couldn't afford it all. My biggest worry was if the lump was cancer. They did a biopsy from the lump. They must not have been too gentle w/her bcuz she bit one of the nurses & she never bites. But she does have a distinct attitude now...even towards me (it's probably all the meds I've had to give her).
They couldn't find any cancer in the biopsy they took....but.....the vet said he wouldn't rule it completely out...WTF? The vets these days are really trying to cover their a**es. Oh......& I forgot to mention...she lost 2 punds since she first went to the vets. She now down to 7 lbs. Even as small as she is,she can't afford to lose any more. I can feel her entire backbone. All I can do is keep giving her the homemade pedialyte & hope I can find enuf things that she'll eat.
That's where your Prayers come in.......Thanks again you guys. I'll keep you updated if you'd like. -

GD...her eating is way down but she always has been a femmy eater. She doesn't eat alot but, eats often. I've been trying to get her to eat more wet food & steer her away from kibble since kibble can get stuck in their throats easier. She's always been a kibble lover so I'm having trouble their.
The vet thought it was a deep-seated virus in the lymphnodes. There was actually a lump on each side at first. After a few prescropts of Clavamox,the lump on one side disappeared but, the larger one on the other side stayed w/her. It's shrunk after each prescript(she's had six of them) but stopped shrinking after a certain point. Now she's having the 'something caught' episodes that she was having when I first took her in.
You can see why I needed all your Prayers. At this point there isn't much else I can do. :( -

Hugs to you guys for helping me out here. There isn't too much of a change since yesterday. If she can hang in there till next Wednesday,she may be able to lick this thing. When feeding her anymore, I have to sit there & hold her bowl up to her face. If I set it down in front of her & walk away,she just lays down & goes back to sleep. Thanks again for your best wishes for her & myself. It's so appreciated!! Love Ya Littermates!!!

I want to Thank all of you for your Prayers & Good Wishes & ask that they continue. You'll be glad to hear that Winnie is a step better this morning. Just a step but, in the right direction. She's less dehydrated & is perkier than she's been in several days. Yay. Now if she'll hang in there till Wednesday. I'll keep my vigil up & w/your Prayers I may be able to get her thru this.
