Love Jackson Galaxy from Animal Planet's The Cat from Hell show...

Dee that eggplant recipe looks good.

La Nina is doing a number it seems on the weather this year, hope that she quiets down soon.

  3. Seems like the flooding continues in Montana, South Dakota and North Dakota :(

    http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110529/ap_on_re_us/us_western_flooding

Hope that all nearby are out of harm's way. This is an excerpt of the article...

Authorities have already started releasing massive volumes of water from overburdened reservoirs. The releases coupled with the floodwaters have been predicted to cause flooding downstream, possibly in the Dakotas, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri

  4. Evening Shifters, just watching House and then The Good Wife while relaxing finally. HRH is curled up in Mr MS's chair sleeping and the fire is gently ticking over. I have some chocolate to nibble on later and the anticipation of geting my teeth into it is keeping me from falling asleep.

  5. Evening Jan, good shows to watch and relax. The chocolate is a good thing to nibble on later.

Sitting here trying to decide on whether to reorganize two bookcases or go back to bed and watch tv thru my eyelids.

  7. LOL, what a choice. I know which one I would do, the second one. Mr MS watches TV through his eyelids too but he never replies when I ask if he's still awake.
Then again I did re-organise my recipe file this afternoon.

  8. Lol, I am thinking of the second too and waking up early to do the bookcases...they are filled and not in any order right now.

Love to watch Giraffes walk, they look graceful now running is a different story.

  9. Ok choice has been made, off to bed I go and watch tv either with eyes open or thru the eyelids. May be back in a little bit, depends on whether the crew has decided to actually sleep too :)

  10. I love watching giraffes too, so elegant despite their lanky legs and neck. Love watching them bend down for a drink, that's how I bend when my knees are playing up. LOL

    Posted 12 months ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  11. I agree they are elegant, now they do look awkward when drinking and running.

  12. I'm off to get a coffee and blob for a while.
Deb, if you should decide to go back o bed and watch TV through your eyelids then sleep well, chin scritches to The Crew and I'll see you tomorrow. If you decide to reorganise the bookcase I'll see you a bit later on.

  13. MS...did you check out the recipe on the prev page?

Posted 12 months ago by Dee #

  14. Dee, thanks I did see that recipe and have bookmarked it. I'll keep my eye out for some romaine lettuce now.
I'm retiring for the night now. See you all tomorrow, enjoy your Sunday everyone.

  15. Night MS!....... scritches to HRH!......

...... Morning everyone!....... Dee, I'm headed to Publix later to puruse the BOGOs........

.... I'm still hoping we will get a decent rain today, yesturday the 20 min. 'sprinkle' hardly even got the ground wet........ I want a good old fashion thunder storm!

  16. Waaaaaaahhhhhh! I keep missing everybody. *Waves frantically at departing backs.* Sleep well and sweet dreams to all those off to bed, have a great day, everyone else. It is way too cold in here, I am off to grab a hot drink, a hot water bottle and a hot guy (nope, only joking about the last, worse luck)! But I do get to cuddle up with Attack Kitty. Nighty-night, all!

Posted 12 months ago by jcat #

  17. LOL @ Jcat....... well, two out of three isn't bad ;)

    * waves * back frantically....... how is Miss Attack Kitty?

Posted 12 months ago by AV #

  18. Hi, AV, she is doing well but she is five months now and at that terrible biting and clawing everything that moves stage (mostly me). All my cats before have been able to go in and out as they please and work off all that energy outside chasing and playing and climbing trees and exploring. Because Miss Millie is basically an indoor cat (she doesn't even want to go on the verandah :( ) she has to work off all that energy indoors! I hope she calms down soon or there won't be much of my skin left...

  19. Libs still runs out of the house when she sees or hears her :( I love my Libby too.

Posted 12 months ago by jcat #

  20. ........ awwwwww sweet Millie!........ Libs is a smart one - run, or be the object of the Millie Monster's claws and kitten energy! LOL

...... does she have a stuffed toy that she likes? I know Abby's white kitty was her favorite claw/chew/play toy when she was a baby, and to this day, she still carries it all over the house (singing of course).....

Posted 12 months ago by AV #

  21. Ohhhh, yes, she has several stuffed toys, one I have to spend hours throwing for her on the bed at night or she just launches herself at me instead. What she really wants is another kitten to play with, but then Libby really would leave home for good. Her sister, Milo, got her forever home this week -- I'm so glad, she's such a lovely and happy kitten. Otherwise I would have been in dire danger of bringing Milo home for Millie and Libs and me could move out together... (joke).

  22. LOL!..... oh, I understand (and sympathize) well, the perils of trying to incorpoate a young'n with an older queen - Cuddles never did accept Abby.... she was almost 10 when I brought Abbs home, and it apparently proved that Cuddles was completely missing the 'motherly' gene or instinct....... she learned to 'tolerate' Abby, but poor Abby had to give her a wide sphere..... right before we moved in '08, we were battling with 'pee' issues with Cuddles - vengeful desecration of chairs, carpets etc. because I wouldn't make 'that kitten' go away!....... when we moved in the house we're in now, we were fortunate to conveniently have two separate living areas, so we can keep them apart........ this works best for us....... Cuddles never has to share ANYTHING - not a litter tray, not food bowls, nothing ........ she's not had one 'accident' since we made this arrangement......... *sighs* she's just happier as a loner kitty........Abby only cares about being with me, so it works for her too.........

....... you know us 'hoomans'...... we only live to serve our felines......

  23. I hear you, AV, I hear you. Well, really off to bed now, my fingers are frozen. Sorry to post and run. Have a lovely cruisy Sunday!

Posted 12 months ago by jcat #

  24. Good night Jane!.... scritches to Libs and Mills...... have a great rest!

..... I've got to get myself up and moving - Dau's BF is coming in town today, so I want to get the porch cleaned and go to the store - we're cooking out today, and playing cards - one of my family's favorite past-times!

...... have a great day everyone!
