  1. I'm surprised you didn't mention biking, WWM!

I got nothing done this week since I wasn't feeling well and needed to take it easy.
My swim friend is coming back in town Sunday, so I'm hoping to swim with her Tuesday. I may even go swim a little over the weekend if I feel well enough.

And once I'm 100% again, I will go bike shopping. I'm doing a 62 mile event in town on July 10th and would love to have a new bike to ride by then.

    DIet-wise, I haven't had coffee for three days :(
I'm eating a couple of spoonfuls of honey a day and drinking coconut water which is supposed to help, too (I really don't like the stuff but have discovered the pineapple flavored one isn't too bad). I've made a couple of trips to the new Fresh Market that opened by me and gotten fresh fruit and today got some probiotic drink things. And trying to eat small, bland meals frequently.

  2. Uh... GD, this is your nurse speaking. No one ever suffered from taking a weekend off. And that is exactly what you need to do right now. No biking, no swimming... just rest.

  5. Maybe THIS week I can get on the bike 4x...I was going to Saturday, but there was a big fluffy Catkin-belly on the bed, so I snuggled my cat and we had a catnap instead.

  11. Having a bad week, and instead of being good and eating right I ate almost half a container of Bear Track ice cream tonight. Bad me, but so very good.

  12. That is what we are here for to encourage and lend an ear! One dat at a time! You can do it...just work thru your challenging habits & turn them around into healthier habits! I've done the same thing by not eating properly & blowing it. So, the next day get back on track! TLC good luck hugs w/purrs & headbonks for all feeling challenged by the moment! Me, I hope to find my way back to the gym tonite after the fun time at the Dentist!

  13. I have been switching from soda (which I love) to club soda with lemon, lime and orange slices. Refreshing and tastes good, I know it can have too much sodium for some of us and citrus slices in ice-water are refreshing too! And of course I walk a brisk 30 minutes a day.

  16. My swim friend is moving away on Sunday, so by Monday I need to start a new routine. I'm going to try to swim four times a week. I also need to get my bike fixed so I can start riding it again.

  17. I joined Weight Watchers Online a few days ago. So far so good. Since, I like to do things online, it seems pretty easy. I haven't had much trouble keeping within my points limit. I like that you can eat as much fruits and veggies as you want. This is my first time doing a commercial weightless program and I hope to lose 50lbs. But for right now I just want to get below 200lb (again). I think actually having to pay for the diet plan is an actual incentive to stick with it even though it wasn't much money.

Any other TDKers do Weight Watchers? Do you find the meetings helpful, I haven't decided if I want to go to them. (They cost extra)
