Hey M&MM, how is your job search going on? I just heard this morning that there are layoffs coming and that they may be starting today. They announced layoffs at this temp job over a month ago and people knew the day would come. It is just that some won't know till today that they do not have a job anymore. I had kept hearing that my temp job was safe but am not so sure now as there seems to be some uneasiness in my group. They said that since they were such a small group, they didn't think there would be any layoffs but I get the feeling something has changed. Hard to work in this environment. Almost makes me want to go and find a new temp assignment till I can find a permanent job.
Three interviews at three different companies and now I play the waiting game. It is very frustrating to do this. I keep applying at other jobs. I am sort of wishing I had gone ahead with a temp job interview at Adobe (it was for a five month assignment that would have got me through into March of next year which is a better time to be job searching). Maybe I will tell them, I am available at the end of the month if nothing comes about with the permanent jobs.
Kind of feeling a bad mood coming on today. Growl. Happy Hump day..growl.
