The brace and crutches may help but without seeing a doctor and getting xrays MC won't know. After a fall at work, I am suprised that they didn't send her immediately to a doctor to be xrayed. I am praying that this is not a broken leg and that MC is getting the medical care that she needs. MC you are a strong person, please don't self treat and let a doctor care for you! Continued prayers of healing and strength to you MC!

Thank you all for your love and support. I am well as can be. Been to the doc and am highly medicated. Just now saw thread. Please don't worry too much, have an army of people to care for me. I seem to have walked down the hall at the time my knee/leg wanted to be weak and it gave out. Something popped/snapped and I went down. There was immediate pain/swelling so I went right into the doc. Did some tests but the swelling was too much to see much. I have a brace, crutches, meds and strict orders to walk only as needed w/crutches, elevate and see doc Monday. Most likely by then they can do an MRI. So much for my osteoporosis meds working! Going to re-eval that treatment as well! Going to try to get some more sleep but I had to get up and hop on crutches to the potty. Thanks again for all your love, well wishes and prayers!!!

Forgot to add that doc could not really move my leg and didn't try. She did say best scenario is a break but it could have been a torn ligament/tendon which would require immediate or pretty immediate surgery. Was looking online for some " bubble wrap" scrubs for work but sure couldn't find any!!! :p

MC, glad that you are going to try resting at home and wishing the best for Monday's appt with the doc. I looked on-line for bubble wrap scrubs too, even @ Spencers (the gag gift place) and nada, zip, nuthin'!
