Fred is in dismay, he forgot to send out the invites ahead of time, but he hopes everyone can show. He is sending out the invites early this morning. It's Cricket's 6th Birthday. It going to be a beautiful day today so the party is in the backyard. There are balloons tied to the deck, catnip vines on the garage, A huge Salmon cake, there is Pin the Tail on the Dog, a mouse pinata, Fred got out the DJ booth and has put on some party music, Celebration by Kool and the Gang... Cricket gives Fred a hug and puts on some Capri's and a pretty yellow tank top. She has her salon items too so the girls can be pampered. She can't wait to see her friends.!

Happy Birthday Cricket! Ringo and Dara are on their way through the wormhole. Ringo quite fancies having his claws painted pink (and no, that isn't Dara playing a joke on him). Dara wants to dance and lie in the sun.

Cricket runs over and greets her Dara and Ringo. She hugs them and squeals in delight. Fred gives them both a hug and takes Dara on the dance floor to Dance with her. He also shows her the area where the sun is best and there are little beds for all the kitty naps. Cricket gets out her brightest pink and her and Ringo go sit and start painting his nails.

Dara has more energy than usual - she went to the vet today and was given an antibiotic shot for her respiratory problem. So no wheezing while she boogies with Fred!

Happy Birthday Cricket, HRH Shadz has donned her tiara and is on her way through the wormhole. She wants to know if Ohio lawns taste the same as Kiwi lawns. She loves chewing on grass.

...... Cuddles and Abby scamper about the house, packing their favorite play clothes, party hats and hastily wrapping Cricket's present (a new feather wand, with bubbles that shoot out of one end)...........
..... Abby and Cricket are very similar in age, Abby was six last fall...... she feels 'all grown up'........... cats in their prime!....... she looks forward to frolicking with Ringo, Dara and Fred too!
..... Cuddles packs her extra comfy beanbag/lawn chair and askes Meowmy to send an extra one for HRH........ the elderly cats might not be up to chasing too many bubbles, but they will love lounging in the sun and sniffing the clover........
..... Meowmy has to go to work today, so she sends a note to Auntie CM, Auntie MS and Auntie KK to please make sure the girls behave and are sent home on time.........
...... everything is ready, and SWOOSH!!!!!!!! the girls hurtle thru the wormhole!

Fred greets the ladies and kisses their paws, then guides HRH and Cuddles to the area in the lawn where the clover is soft, the sun is warm and they can lounge. Cricket hugs Abby, Cuddles, and HRH then pulls Abby to where Ringo is..his pink nails glistening in the sun and starts to do her fur with bows and paints her nails a beautiful shade of mocha to match her fur.

OOH! A party! Luna and Willow are all ready for the fun, they have sparkly balls for Cricket's birthday! Hermes has a soft blankie for her, which he's more than willing to try out (lol) but he's willing to share!
Luna and Willow have brought the badminton set. Kittehs don't need rackets for this, they use their paws! (lol)

Happy Birthday Cricket! Leela puts on a peach-colored sundress and Comet is wearing a blue jumper. They fill a basket with nip crackers and crab dip.
Whoosh! Thud. THUD. "Get off me" Leela quietly growls to Comet, who sproings up and presents a pawfull of daisies to Cricket's Mama, then rushes to give Cricket a big birthday hug. Fred helps Leela to her feet, they hug, and chat for a few minutes, then they go to Cricket and Comet. Comet is curious about Leela's honorary "big brother" and they go and look at the music selection. Leela is happy to see Cricket on her big day watches the fabulous job she's doing on Ringo's pink claws.

Ruggles and Rotley hurry into their play clothes and grab the blow-up rubber pool and floaties for the birthday girl and her good brother.
Rotley calls Windi and Willow on his cell phone -- "Quick! a party for Crickett! -- Yes, I'm wearing green and Ruggie is wearing yellow -- Windi, whatever you and Willow have on will be gorgeous -- see you there!" and the two boys scamper over to the wormhole with their packages.

Cricket is so happy to see all her friends, she runs to greet everyone and thanks them for her gifts, the music is on and the kitties are dancing, some are resting in the sun and others are in the pool or playing badminton. Meowmy brings out fresh nip tea and some tuna snacks. Fred is playing the host to a tea and greets his friends as well. He is keeping his eyes open for his Wilma and Betty :)

The crew sits and looks @ me, yes you can go....ok know watch over B, you know she is not to be bothered by you little hoodlums, lol. They are gathering up sparkly toys, feathers, and treats (lots of treats) and off they go thru the wormhole, whooooshhhh. Oh and B would like her nails painted a pretty pink too please :)

Leela curls up with Hermes on the super-soft blankie; she enjoys a mid-morning nap in the sun too. As they admire Cricket's artwork still drying on her claws, they chat about younger siblings. They decide they're ok, but kind of annoying sometimes! Hermes slips a catnip square from under his tummy and they snuggle on it, giggling.

Fred is talking to George about life and starts to tell him that kisses, snuggle and purrs are the best way to get loves and treats..not playing attack cat with Meowmy...he hopes he is getting his message to George.
Cricket is painting B's nails a beautiful shade of pink and found a beautiful bow to match to put in her fur.

My bunch are running about all excited at a party to go to. They can hardly wait to see all their friends again. They have lots of little furry ball and mice (their favorite) to bring Cricket. Sophie is looking forward to seeing Cuddles and enjoying their banter (often at the expense of the younger generation). Sassy and her girls love to dance so they can hardly wait. Molly thinks getting her nails done is first rate. They give Meowmy a kiss and their off through the worm hole. YAY

Fred wanders to Hermes & Leela. Hermes stiffens a bit - "we're just nappin!" Fred smiles knowingly and says he just wants to see if he will be around later to help him with a surprise fireworks show for Cricket this evening.
Leela takes the opportunity to exchange hisses with Cuddles from across the room. Sophie and Dot look at Cuddles curiously, and Cuddles explains that it was an inside joke that sort of took on a life of it's own.

Ms. B is truly enjoying the beautiful nails and the ribbon :) She is going to lie in the sun and watch the festivities. The boys (Haje, Red, and Kitty) are scampering thru the house chasing bubbles in the air and Lil Girl is hunkered down getting ready to pounce on one coming close to the floor!

Dot decides to help the kits with putting out more noms to enjoy! She carfully carries the wobbly chickie/greens jellied salad to add the table of treats along with the salmon/nip muffins. Crockey decides to set up the music area as the kits unroll the Twister kit mat to start the movin',twistin' fun to work up an appetite and get more of the kits to mingle!
