I'm having a good day so far. I got to sleep in til 7:15 (2 hours later than usual) and then met my friend for a swim from 8-9. It was nice but bittersweet, as she's moving to AZ on Sunday so this was our last swim. But it was nice nonetheless.
Stopped in at panera afterwards and asked Happy Julio (my manager friend) where my birthday cake was. He came rushing from behind the counter to give me a hug and told me to get whatever I wanted. So I got a coffee and a chocolate croissant to go, then went to the house where I'm starting dogsitting the next four days and am now watching Wimbledon while enjoying my treat :)In a couple of hours I'm meeting swim friend at my favorite sushi place for lunch and after that I think I'll treat myself to a manicure. Tonight GG is taking me to a nice-looking German restaurant I've been wanting to try. So quite a lot going on today but all good things :)

Thanks everyone! It's been a good day so far. I swam with my friend this morning and then met her for lunch at our favorite sushi place. After that, I treated myself to a manicure and pedicure. That happens about once a year or so so it was a special treat. This afternoon I've been hanging out with the dog I'm watching and we went to the dog park for a bit. I'm meeting GG in a bit to go out for dinner. So a very nice day. Wish I had time off more often!
Susie, my friend is looking forward to AZ because it's not as humid as here. It's in the 90s here with 100% humidity. It's just nasty! Can't wait till winter!
