Yes, 16th OK, me and hopefully Mum (home shut at the mo because of a bug) but if I can't bring her or for whatever reason she doesn't want to come, I can bring a cat-friendly friend :o)

Hopefully be able to come along, but just as prior warning, I think I have to be in Dundee on the 12th to be a witness in a court case. If it gets delayed a few days or anything, or over runs, I'll let you know asap! Pre trial thing on the 6th, see after that if I'm needed. Even if I am, I should be back before the 16th hopefully.

Has someone booked the table?
*Give me patience - Megadeth and Metallica etc are playing at Sonisphere tonight and I am hearing heavy metal, whether I want to or not!*

Bump, bump, bump (and that's just the bass and drums from the heavy metal festival)

If nothing has been booked yet, I think me and Mr metsa might have to pull out - sorry everyone. If it has already been booked, I might be able to come along, but Mr metsa most likely won't. Not that I don't want to see people but a variety of issues popping up -including animal care and my sister's baby due about then too!

I fear the drive is not going to be a good one, the weather forecast is awful - but I can see the irony in 5 drowned rats meeting up for a cat fans lunch!!!

The drive down was truly atrocious. The rain was coming down in stair-rods and the cloud was so low that the tops of some of the motorway bridges disappeared. It even managed to wash my wheels effectively!
However lunch was excellent, Pika, MCW and MCW's friend Fi were all on good form and we had a great time. Photos of food were taken, but my computer has crashed totally and completely and will probably require a decent burial (I don't believe it is called Lazarus ...), so I don't know when I will be able to upload them - sorry!
The drive back was slowish, but much more pleasant, as the sun had come out. Unfortunately Pika's train was horribly delayed near Bristol (I think), so she didn't get home until very late.

I will probably have to buy a new one *sigh*. The "old" one is about 3 or 4 years old, so it's out of warranty, and is actually now "out of date". I cannot get it to do anything ....
