   Well all the parties and celebrations are over till Labor Day. The kitteh's have turned off all the televisions, radio's, computers and have asked that no electronic devices be allowed into the hall tonite.

   They are somber and sad and know that lots of the hoomins are too, and mad, and frustrated and confused. They want no more news tonight! They are ready to play or cuddle or whatever it is you want to do.

   The lights are low, the air is high, the fire for the southern hemisphere is burning warmly. The fountains are flowing, the grill is hot and the tuxies are ready to take your order.

   I'm off to bed myself, but having a nice plate of assorted cheeses and a big glass of ice water before I head off.

   Asking... has anyone started a July Healthy and Fit thread yet?

   No need to be somber!! There is always a reason to celebrate!! There are so many things to celebrate between now and Labor Day! I celebrate my friends here, a great group of individuals that have been like family! I celebrate the hundreds of kitten this group has helped over the years! The feline leukimia group was very helpful medically, but TDK helped my darling Basil have extra years. The prayers and wishes of so many to each other in support of heartbreak and joy has been what makes TDK so different. From roller skating to food fight, from support in sorrow to celebrating miracles, TDK has done it all! I celebrate the members of TDK from those that have been here 6 years to 6 minutes!! My glass of champagne is raised to you all!

   I will raise a glass of my best Irish whiskey to those that I have admired that are gone. There was one of the greatest men ever that was here. When he died this site created something very beautiful. I have seen one of the finest, kindest women ever die--I have all her recipes and tips tucked away for me to use at a moments notice, she was absolute grace. There are others that have died that have taught many to laugh even when in great pain and to love family and friends. So I want to toast to them as well, those gone but far from forgotten!

   Well crud!! My whiskey has been watered! That does it--where is there seltzer water spray??? Maybe I left it with my tutu--have to have that too so I can join in the rain dance--hope I don't shake something and end up in traction!

    ....gives 3K the *look*..... wipes 'drenched' self with a towel, and laughs!...... ya see, this is why I love this site so much!..... one minute we are toasting our memories of loved ones, and the next, we're drenching each other in beverages and goo!....... ((((( LOVE YOU GUYS!))))).....

    Evening all, wet,windy and cold here. The fire is gently warming us and I'll be cooking dinner soon.

    It sure looked fast in the video I saw. Goodness it is a night for storms in Arizona. One wet and one dry. I hope you got some more rain and I see the storm had a silver lining of reduced temperatures for a while.
