After the Party Night Shift

Not so much, GD, but then it's actually not been so cold outside during the day, she has been coming in a bit at night, when it does get chilly. She seems to be settling down a teeny tiny bit but I won't be happy until both my girls are happily sleeping under the same roof and even on the same bed, as Libs and Jasper occasionally used to do.
Miss Millie is in fine form, except she has a wee bloody graze on her chin, I don't know if she knocked it in a fall or if she accidentally scratched herself, but it doesn't seem to be bothering her and as long as it heals nicely, we won't mention the v-e-t- just yet. She made the most amazing leaps through the air from one end of the bed to the other today, she loves to play on the bed as it doesn't hurt when she lands, and today she was just sailing through the air like a wee aerial ballet, lol.

LOL, no Jcat doesn't have a secret.
Evening GD, has it dried yet out in your city?
Ohhhhhhh poor Millie, I am glad that Libs is coming inside more often.Posted 10 months ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

So am I, MS, but it's not half enough, yet. I have washed her favourite beanbag cover but need to get more beans to fill it up -- I am hoping that will make her want to stay inside more.
It's hard to believe Millie is six months old now, she is so tiny still. She will need to go to the v-e-t- for another reason soon. I need to get them both microchipped as well but the budget is a bit lean at the moment, we might be able to manage it next month.

Gosh, 6 months already and I suppose she will need to have a spa visit.
Sad to say I am off to bed now, feeling very tired and with HRH inside I can get a relatively early night.
Sweet dreams Jcat, headbonks to Libs and Millie. GD have a great day.Posted 10 months ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

I hope so, she loves her beanbag. She's sitting on it in my avatar. It's a bit sad and deflated at the moment though. Miss Millie is always going to be accident-prone unfortunately but I have no idea how she managed to graze her wee chin. It doesn't stop her playing hard out when she feels like it. I had a lot of fun watching her go crazy today :D

Ohhh, MS, nighty-night and sleep well. Sweet dreams to you and Shadz. I should go too, I have some proofreading to do and it is very chilly here at the computer, my office is the coldest room in the house, unfortunately. I think it might be better done in bed, as long as I don't fall asleep, lol.

My bean bag is a tad deflated too, I have some more beans but all I need now it the inclination to get the beans out of bag A and into bag B. They recommend on the instructions to do it in the bath tub. I hear a funnel made from a newspaper is the way to go. Guess I could try both.
Nighty night Jcat.Posted 10 months ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

I don't have a bathtub :C Just a shower tray. It makes the most appalling mess, whatever way you do it, and I always lose half the beans but Miss Millie did enjoy playing in them last time I tried to transfer beans. Where did you get your beans from, MS? I am a bit worried I won't be able to find any.

Morning All!......... Cuddles has a beanbag, that has her favorite 'blankie' molded into it, to make her perfect 'bowl'......... it's her favorite place to sleep, particularly when it's cold, she curls up and nestles deep in it!.......
....... I've never filled the beans up, but it was an overstuffed one to start with....... Cuddles thinks it's just right!

GD, love the 'retro' avatar!.......... and it's been a couple of years since I shortened my sign-in to just AV, but that's what everyone has always called me since I joined - AbbigailViolet was so long, I've always been AV..... so I just made it match........
....... is GG signing up as GG? ...... and I'm assuming his avatar will be Glen Jr. right?.......... this is exciting!
-
Ooh, ooh, that WILL be exciting, if GG signs up :D
GD, Yay! I just found a site here that looks like it made my original beanbags and it sells beanbag liners too, I just ordered two! If you have the chance to buy a beanbag WITH a liner (so the cover is removable for washing), take it. Then you can just whip the cover off and stick it in the washing machine or dry clean it and the beans can stay safely in the liner bag. It truly is MURDER trying to transfer beans from one bag to another....
I thought I might buy a pet bag for Millie but the pet bags are virtually the same price as the hoomin bags. How does that work, lol? So, seeing as I have two hoomin bags, that'll do...
I also found that our local big red shop sells the beans, so I will be off there on Friday...
