Hi, my name is Terri and my husband, Ronnie, and I are animal lovers.
Six of our cats are former ferals, and we take care of a colony of ferals in our back yard. The other 2 were just strays. All our cats are indoor cats ranging in age from 13 1/2 years to 9 months old.
I'm so happy to have found a new cat forum. The last several I belonged to had to do with cat health issues we were going through. Nice to talk about healthy cats! Looking foreward to getting to know you and your kits.

CATerriD, welcome to the TDK family!! Friendly bunch of fuzzbutt slaves are we, lol, yes we do care about our furry family members but even more importantly we care about each other as a family too. Do you have pics of your furry family on www.catster.com ......if so if you put the URL in your profile then it will show up in pink and then all of us can share in seeing your family members. Again, welcome to the family.

Hi CATerriD
I had back yard ferals too! Most of them ended up in my house. My county in New Jersey has an ordinance against outdoor cats if you can believe that.Posted 4 years ago by Violetbabykitty #

Welcome. I have 7 kitties, with a special place in my heart for ferals. Click on my pink name , and you can see my family; Cute Linda is still quite feral and Willow is a feral convert! This is a great site and I look forward to seeing your little furry faces on Catster soon. Thank you for caring for ferals that really need our help.

Hi, Terri - welcome to TDK! I have two fur babies (who my husband, not me, has hopelessly spoiled) and they were both ferals. Ferals love you all the more because they are so grateful.

Welcome to TDK, Terri! I've been on TDK for about one and a half years. In that time I've come to know many wonderful people who are staff to their cats. I have two kits, Digit and Furl. They are polydactyl. Check out their photos by clicking on my screen name! I'm looking forward to getting to know you. Bless you for giving your kits a good home and looking after ferals. :-)

Welcome, Terri. TDK is a fun place. I started just looking at the new kitten photo each day for a daily shot of happiness - and it was a long time before I realized what NICE PEOPLE are also present in the chat rooms each day. At Dancing Cat Hill (so named because we expect to always have cats dancing around on our hill and we have a kitty weathervane) we currently have six kitties (which you can see on Catster, another great site.) Five were the result of rescuing a pregnant momma and one was rescued from a shelter. Never met a kitty I didn't love.

Hi CATerri, Welcome to TDK. I didn't see this thread until now. You were on Night Shift a couple days ago, I think,
I have 7 cats and 3 dogs, live with my daughter and her 2 sons outside of Dallas.
Glad to have you aboard.
Peace, hugs and purrs.Posted 4 years ago by artistabobbi TX 1/17 #

Hi, I've been a bit irregular in my TDK habits recently. Things at work have been a bit hectic. Nice to meet you. I only have the one kit now, and she will not tolerate an "interloper", so I can't get any more. She has been soooo happy since her sister died last Easter!!:-(

I just spotted your introduction - Welcome to this loving family. I am a mom to 23 indoor cats and down to 3 outdoor cats for now. They range from 19 years old (only non rescue) to 9 months. I know you will love it here.

Thank you for all the warm welcomes! I am usually a night person -- I usually get to the computer midnight est. I enjoyed the night shift the other night and will possitively be back. Problem is I can only type with my left hand as Mr. PC is always sleeping on my right arm. He's our study cat. :)
