Morning JK & Deb! *gentle scritches to Mrs. B*
JK, Crockey went to the rink this weekend for a little while, in case you were wondering where he was. Leela and Comet picked him up and dropped him off so he was never alone; Leela thought it would be good for him to get out and Comet has enjoyed getting to know him. It was a nip-free party so no one got tipsy, except perhaps from fun - and maybe some dizziness from spinning 'round the rink!
Just got back from taking the duo to the vet for their rabies shots. It's time to renew Leela's license and register Comet. Even though Comet got his in January, the town requires the vaccination to be valid thru April '12, sigh.
Leela is back up to her perfect weight of 12lbs and Comet has soared to 15.7! He's not fat, just a big boy!Posted 10 months ago by JoanfromNewJersey #

Morning, all. Back at work after a vacation & running like mad to catch up. May not be around much for a day or two, but wanted to check in.
Got my tickets for the last HP movie yesterday - yay! My best friend is coming up from Philadelphia so we can complete our run of seeing all 8 of the movies together.

“My girlfriend said the cat has to be gone by 12:00 tomarrow. She left a little while ago to hang with her friends. I put all her crap on the lawn and will try my best to find her a new home but if not there is always the shelter.
So what we have here is one mildly attractive yet bitchy soon to find out she is a homeless exgirlfriend. She is somewhat house broken (but i think she is still connected to her mom by the umbilical cord). She is in her midtwenties and is NOT SPAYED (though she usually takes the pill) Lot of life left in this one. She is up to date on her shots and is great with dogs and small children, but does not seem to get along well with cats. She is playfull and bathroom trained (If takeing over every inch of horizontal surface with her stuff in the place is house broken. Then she is the Queen of house brokeness!!!) She has somewhat of a special diet though i never figured it out fully, but pretty much it is dictated by what ever her closes friend of that week is into (Raw, vegan, atkins, hostes) You get the picture. She will be comeing with a whole lot of stuff!! (If it is still there when she comes home, but when iam done here Iam heading right over to the free section so maybe not) There will not be a rehoming fee (As a matter of fact i got $34 cash if you can get her tonight, If you need more we can hit the atm unless you have paypal then we have lots of options)
The main reason Iam rehoming her is becuase she moved in about 9 months ago, and for three months everything was great, but then she started bitching about my cat. My cat has lived with me for 11 years since he was abandoned in my yard at about 3 weeks old, and i had too bottle feed him and teach him how to do everything a cool male should know (hunt, nap, play, hide, chirp like a bird. how to use a litter box!! This was the most challenging as i did not know how to use one myself. That made for some awkward moments) In other words Misdemeanor and I have been kicking it for a long time, and if she thinks I would even consider kicking him to the curb. Well need i say more?
I may put her up for auction on ebay tonight if my lawyer gives me the okay.”

JK, Ms. B is sliding downhill pretty much, trying to get up over the phone call to make an appointment for her to cross. Just haven't been able to do it this morning, sigh.

Aw, Azdeb, special hugs coming your way and scrithches for Ms B...heaven's hands will be open wide for her soon as all of our special furry family wait to welcome her home to the meadow.
That is a purrfect catguy fur sure...liked the cat pix too, was that a special paddy finger pose/tee hee it was sharing for the "X" gal pal?!

Deb loved the posting, that guy sounds like my kind of man!!! Love me love my cat. Every guy I dated as an adult got the warning that "I come with a cat. maybe more than one. When this cat dies of old age, it will be replaced. I will always come with a cat. If you can't deal then there is no need in going further." I married the man that moved my cat into his apartment, long before I ever moved in.
So sorry for Ms. B. Prayers for a peaceful corssing.

Coming in for my lunchtime brew....Hi Kykat, (thought of you when I stopped at Nueskes on the way home from Up North) nice to see you/agree with your mantra luv me/luv my cat and it definitely worked for you too!
Now to the patio with my fave kit Tuxi-o...to the lounge chair for some snuggles! (Azdeb, maybe Ms B would like to come visit on the patio for some sunshine and snuggles w/purrs & headbonks from the TDK kitcrew too!) -

Tks everyone, we are going in @ 3.30 this afternoon to see her fav vet, Doc Chris (she is a great vet). After the crossing, then we are going to see Darla @ the pet cemetary (she is wonderful too).
JK, she loves being on the patio, its warm and she likes to get her left hindfoot going when her belly is gently rubbed.
And yes I agree with the 'love me, love my cats' mantra....my husband 'offered' to come back and live with me if I got rid of them......yeah he is still with his gf in TX, she can have him.

What a day! Mr. WWM and I were at a County Commissioner's court meeting this morning where they were discussing their plans to move the Midland Co Library away from it's historic downtown location. Mr. WWM is on the Advisory Board and I went for entertainment. The room was packed!!! I think that 23 people spoke and only two of them were in favor of the moves. The CC's voted on this without informing the citizens and so everyone was pretty riled up. It was very interesting!
While there we picked up another bike rider to ride on our team, the MS Bike Riders, for the multiple sclerosis 150 mile ride this weekend. We are now four on the team but are the third highest money raisers out of all of the teams. The two ahead of us are oil companies. Anyway, we invited him to come to dinner Friday and then on Sunday after the ride. We have a friend coming from El Paso to ride with us. But he is a vegetarian so I had to come home and kind of revamp my planned menu. And he wants to bring a man who is coming from Oregon to do the ride. Which is fine but he joined another team! What's up with that?????
