    Lil didn't even wear a costume last year because she had gotten really tired people saying silly things and calling her "cute" when she was in costume. And I remember her hiding under the table...she seemed quite content there but I think she will do better this year.

    I just posted a pic on FB of her in her wig, and I think I will be posting more WIPs of our costumes as they come together.

    I've seen what you've been working on. I'm going to be official before DCon. About to go work on my back plate, which is too long. It's just soooo hot I don't want to sit outside with the dremmel so I keep putting it off lol doesn't help that Resa is sleeping here with me. Purring kittens are hard to leave.

    CATS is amazing. I have seen it live 3 times on different stages, and I own the video version. I was a big CATS fan before I even saw it...when I was a teenager I had a cassette tape of the original cast recording, which I listened to over and over and over. At some point my sister and I got into singing the soundtrack together, and ironically, my daughter and I are now carrying on the tradition. :D

    The first time I saw it live, I literally bawled when Grizabella hit "touch me" when performing Memory. I'm such a silly kitty!

    So getting into CATS costuming and cosplay now is almost like getting back to my roots on some level.

    And on the subject of working on costumes with cats; my furry kids love to hang out with me when I work. I literally live in my studio, and they are always getting their paws into my fabric, yarn, paints, leather, tools, etc. Fun times. :)
