Hi all, its super hot here and most places in the USA. It's all cold goodies tonight, salads, fruits, veggie trays, drinks, sodas, shakes, smoothies, ice cream, mixed drinks, lemonade, sherbet.....you name it, its here. My computer died but I finally was able to get a new one! YAY! I can't believe how FAST this one is! I am in awe! Come on in, the a/c is blasting in the northern hemisphere side, its off on the southern hemisphere side. How are you??

Hi AZ.... I don't miss any of your posts either.... We share the same name... different spelling. Quite a few of us Deb's on TDK... Must change my pawz count...... it's up to 24 pawz!!! Why do they keep adopting me??? Must shut off that sign in the yard that says free room and board!!!!! :)

Lol, yes there are a few of us here :) Its the sign out near the front of your yard that tells them 'kind woman lives here' :) I have had it before too, mine are the throw-away walk-ins at my house, plus they all seem to be orangies :) Don't know if I could handle 24 paws though without winning the lottery so I could have a cattery from heaven for them.

GINGER GLAZED MAHI-MAHI
INGREDIENTS:
3 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger root
1 clove garlic, crushed or to taste
2 teaspoons olive oil
4 (6 ounce) mahi mahi fillets salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon vegetable oilDIRECTIONS:
1. In a shallow glass dish, stir together the honey, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, ginger, garlic and olive oil. Season fish fillets with salt and pepper, and place them into the dish. If the fillets have skin on them, place them skin side down. Cover, and refrigerate for 20 minutes to marinate.
2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove fish from the dish, and reserve marinade. Fry fish for 4 to 6 minutes on each side, turning only once, until fish flakes easily with a fork. Remove fillets to a serving platter and keep warm.
3. Pour reserved marinade into the skillet, and heat over medium heat until the mixture reduces to a glaze consistently. Spoon glaze over fish, and serve immediately. -

... I'm having an absolute fit this past week, with mosquitoes around here!..... they are biting like crazy, and I'm seeming to have a stronger and stronger reaction to them!...... the welts are getting larger, and more itchy!..... uuuuugggghhhhhh!...... I saw on the news, it's the worst misquitoe season in a decade!

AV..before I head to the crib...You might try Cutter Bug Free Backyard outdoor fogger....it's a 16 oz can spray. I use it on the patio, and works well on skeeters and anything that flys. (The packaging may have changed since last year, but it is basically an outdoor fogger).

.... 12p, that's good to know! I may try it in the yard and back patio...... one of the agents that works for me told me about his little girl (4) that is very allergic to mosquitoe bites..... she also had a reaction to the off spray...... his grandma told him to put half water and half listerine in a spray bottle and you could use it on your legs, the porch furniture, anywhere and he said it really helped....... I found that very interesting, and may try is, since I seem to react badly to chemicals!

AV, may try that myself, I have a bad reaction to the chemicals used to kill bugs and mosquitoes especially love to bite me.

AV, what is up with all the mosquitos??? They're everywhere!
When I got to work Monday morning, they had painted and hung mats on the wall and the paint and adhesive smells and fumes were horrible. I opened the gym doors, not knowing there was a gazillion mosquitos outside. Now, for the last couple of days, we've been battling a ton of mosquitos inside! Everyone is getting bit! -
Morning GD! Ouch on the mosquitos, they bite me without fail if they are within 25 miles of me.
